Following the numerous participants of the first series, we will continue for another year with its organization. With the hope that it meets the requirements to become an official NAF circuit and that we will receive some goodies

There will be some slight changes outlined below.
The series will consist of the 5 tournaments in the Region this year (Carthago Bowl, Asiático Cup, Acho Bowl, Mazabowl, and Hermoso Bowl). The circuit will start with the upcoming Acho Bowl (November 16, 2024) and conclude at the XII Carthago (September 2025), where the awards will be presented.
It is not necessary to be from Murcia or to register in advance to participate; attending any of the tournaments in the circuit will guarantee your appearance in the standings.

SCHEDULED DATES FOR THE TOURNAMENTS:
ACHOBOWL: November 16, 2024 https://www.bloodbowlforo.org/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?t=18990
HERMOSO BOWL: December 14, 2024 https://www.bloodbowlforo.org/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?t=19010
ASIÁTICO CUP: March 28, 2025
MAZABOWL: May 18, 2024
CARTAGO BOWL and awards ceremony: First half of September 2025

SCORING:

We have borrowed the scoring system from our friends in Madrid who have been successfully organizing a similar series for years.

In this edition, with 5 participating tournaments, the 3 best tournaments for each player will be chosen to calculate their final score. This means you can miss up to two tournaments in the series “without penalties.”

The scoring system for each tournament will follow the format developed by Duke Luthor: The final score will be the sum of the points earned in the tournaments. Only the 3 best results for each coach will be counted if they have participated in more than 3 tournaments. This is designed to minimize the impact of missing a tournament, allowing players to “skip” two tournaments a year without losing their chance to qualify.

• The maximum score in a tournament will be 75 points for 3-round tournaments
and 100 points for 4-round tournaments (25 extra points for each round in the
tournament).
• The score for each tournament will be the sum of the classification points and
the WinRatio (games won/drawn/lost) achieved in that tournament. This
WinRatio is the same one used by NAF to evaluate each coach.
• Since only the position in each tournament and the WR are considered, each
organizer can set their own scoring system, but for ease of calculation, the 7-3
0 system is recommended as it most accurately reflects the % of victories.
Although it might seem a bit confusing, it is actually quite straightforward. The only
slightly more complex part is the formula for calculating the classification score.

Below are all the mathematical formulas used:
• Tournament Score = (Classification Points + WinRatio) * Kt / 2
Where:
• Kt = 0.75 for a 3-round tournament; 1 for a 4-round tournament; Kt = 1.25 for a
5-round tournament; Kt = 1.5 for a 6-round tournament.
• Classification Points = ((Number of Participants - Position in the Tournament) *
100) / (Number of Participants - 1)
• WinRatio = ((Games Won / Number of Games in the Tournament) + (Games
Drawn / (Number of Games in the Tournament * 2))) * 100

Here’s an example to clarify:

• A coach plays a 4-round tournament and finishes first, winning all 4 games. Their Classification Points would be 100 as they finished first. Their WinRatio would also be 100 as they won all 4 games. Thus, their final score would be = (100 + 100) * 1 / 2 = 100 points.
• A coach plays a 3-round tournament and finishes in 17th place out of 30 with a 1-1-1 record. Their Classification Points would be 13.29. WinRatio score would be 50 points. Final Score: 23.7

AWARDS:

Important News: To be eligible for NAF awards (i.e., 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places),
according to their recommendations, you must score in the circuit with a minimum of
two different races. In other words, in your top three tournaments, you must have
played with at least two different races.

Important: With the exception of the overall ranking (1st, 2nd and 3rd trophies), only
players who have participated in at least 3 tournaments will be eligible for awards.
Awards are not cumulative. If a player wins in two categories, they must choose one
award to keep, with the other being passed to the next highest-ranked player.

• Series Winner
• Series Runner-Up
• Third Place
• Captain: First player eligible to participate in the Spain Bowl with Murcia Team.
• Most Casualties
• Most Touchdowns
• Best Defense
• Best Stunty, Most points with stuny teams.
• Wooden Spoon:The worst player This category will count the three tournaments with the lowest scores.

In each award category, the top three tournaments in that category are selected. For
example, if you finish in first place in a tournament but only inflict 4 casualties, and in
the other tournaments you finish last but inflict 17 casualties in each, only the three
tournaments where you inflicted the most casualties will be considered in the “Most
Casualties” category.

Tiebreaker Criteria: In case of a tie in the overall standings, the player with the most
first-place finishes in the circuit will be ranked higher. If no player has more first-place
finishes, then the player with the most second-place finishes will be ranked higher, and
so on. In other categories, the award will go to the player who is highest in the overall
ranking.
