I did a Chaos Dwarf team using the WH dwarf regiment box and some chaos warrior head sprues. More like 2ed CDs but I like 'em better than the big hat, curly bearded, bull shagging CDs that are official. |

I like bull shagging (but now I wonder how Minotaurs are made?) |

You can make a plastic lizardman team by purchasing the box entitled "Swamp Monsters" from GW. It includes 4 Saurus and 4 skinks for 8 bucks. So, for 16 bucks you can have pretty much a full team. Just snip off the weapons (very easy to do with plastics), slap a coat of paint on them, and you are good to go. You can even take the team to official GW tourneys, since they allow converted teams and the mini's are made by GW. |

Yeah, he isn't that big, right? (I mean, I once painted an old Greater Deamon of Khorne and he was smaller than my Stone Trolls...) |

I made my Norse taem out of plastic Marauders and they look really sweet. My thrower took a Fanatic painting competition at my local GW store, even. Too bad I'm a crappy coach!
I also put together a plastic Orc team, with metal Black Orcs as the other fella did. For Gobbos, I took two 40k Grots and cut off the weapons. They're more scraggly than the fantasy Goblins, and somehow look more BB-ish.
Next up, I'd like to try a Chaos team. Too bad we don't have beastmen yet. Oh well.

Catachan Jungle Fighters from 40k.
I haven't made a complete team with them, but they make awesome bitz for converting figs. I'm sure you can make an entire team with them. |

I've just finished using the jungle fighters, they turned out pretty well. I also converted an ogryn to an ogre as he seemed to match the team better. |

I've put together Goblin, Skaven, Orc, and working towards the Lizardman & Chaos. It's so easy with plastics that it's scary.
Good Luck |

I've used the Vampire Counts Grave Guards. They're even in kind of a running pose. |
