"The title is for Illegal procedure, not for I pee"
What happens when a player with bonehead, does something without coach rolling for bonehead? I know it's not an IP, but why not? I think it should be. |

heh we've had this debate before... it's a tough one to call as it's not covered in the main rules, so in the end we agreed that making a house rule is best.
In our league, forgetting BH was so endemic that we made it possible to call for IP if it was forgotten, and it worked so well no-one ever forgets now. Alternatively, you could say that if it was remembered before it would be impractical to return the board to a point before the BH roll.
Basically, it's a case of make a house rule and stick with it. IMO, make it an IP until people never forget. |

We play it that if the player forgets, it counts as if he had failed the roll.
But coaches are free to remind the opposing player to make the roll if the
are feeling nice at the time.
We just thought that the penalty should not be as strong as an IP.

I agree that in an ideal world it shouldn't be as bad as an IP, but when everyone in the league (inc. me) was frickin' useless at remembering it was a great incentive... |

We just ask the coach to roll a dice, on a 1, move back and play the next player on your list !

I'm curious, I didn't see this in the LRB but is there a way to trait a Bone Head Player to be "Smart" or to remove the Bone Head trait? |

I think compendium gave the opportunity of removing negative traits but now it's not allowed. |

so how come morg isn't bonehead, bolgrot isn't really stupid and always hungry and that big ratty fella isn't a wild animal? because they're stars? because they're exemplary members of thier species? (an anorexic troll??? ) i reckon you should be able to ditch the negative trait but only on a skill roll of a double.
course i usually play gobbo's so i'm biased. ![Very Happy](modules/PNphpBB2/images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif) |

Star Players are exceptional one-off types. That's what makes them stars, eh?
