Dude, couldn't you have found a pub?
Speaking of which, we need to organise a pub to meet up Fri night (myself and Venomous are just around the corner in the same place as LouisX and Darkson etc). Info? |

There's one called the castle just round the corner from the hall for lunchtimes and nightimes (we already play BB in there, and there's a good section we can all sit away from the locals).
I'll get a map off multimap and mark some pubs on it and post it on here.
I did try to get something more suitable than a church hall, but they're cheaper!! And there wasn't anything big enough really. Still, when I've got more time and people coming next year I'll get something better |

Getting back to Birmingham by train on the Sunday is proving tobe a bit of a bitch. I.e. ther are no direct trains (something to do with engineering works on the day ), and I will have to go via London or stay on until Monday morning.
Can anyone offer any help, or advice? |

errr...getting late in the day to ask, but where are the best palces to stay?
There's myself and Raven (Jon) comming along (thats a total of 2 for all you northerners) hee hee (probably support man city or newcastle anyway, never need to count past one unless your counting the number of goals they've let in...) (and thats fighting talk from sunny Ipswich!) (...and yes they are bottom of the league, but I support Man Utd so there!)
err...sorry about that got carried away there... |

of course you support man u because you don't live there. The scum score and all of milton keynes goes mad. I'd be careful of dissing the toon as indy (i think is a supporter) you might end up finding your playing on table by yourself and still get credited with a defeat.
I think the lantern is full now (on the thread somewhere) but the downloadable info pack has some nice places |

@ Kalten
Try here:
Lantern house
174 chesterton road
Cambridge CB4 1DA
Tel:01223 35 99 80
(Indigo told me it was close, like walking distance)
Louis, a couple of other french coachs and me are staying here (anyone else?). Don't know if there's room or not, but giv it a try. |
