I'm of the opinion that in general Ball & Chain is almost always more of a risk then a benefit in a team, because 50% of the time your going to die at the end of the match. Soo.... this being said in a ladder style tourney where a player wrapping the chain around his neck or having his heart pop like a zit when he hits the injury box isn't really a factor, could he be a game winning factor if luck holds? I'm thinking of trying it out just to see if it would be an advantage. I mean I would have to go in one reroll down but I'm thinking if I can get a couple str 6 blocks with him it might tip the game in my favor. Opinions?

I've never used him in a tourney but I get the impression he's more of a "for fun" choice than anything else

although I am probably wrong

Even for the fear factor, he's worth it in my opinion, even though he will obviously won't last long in every game...

I think he's a great tourney addition if Star Players are allowed. Of course, I also think star players shouldn't be allowed in tournament play...

On a goblin team Fungus is great - because he give you a way to really threaten a tough caging opponent.

But with gobbos you don't expect to win so don't mind the odd turn over when he suffers a heart attack.

He's a laugh. If you are gobbos, so what? If you are Orks, you don't need the boost.
