Initial ideas and preliminary plans are being thrown about for a gaming con in Uppsala during sportslovet next year.
AS part of this I'm hoping to organise a BB tournament. Initial discussions set places at a mere 16.
I'd like more, and might be able to swing more if I can show that there will be enough bodies to fill spots. We got twenty at Lincon, and a few more who didn't play...
The format would probably - for my preference - be a standard 1 million to start, no stars, and a skill after each round, six rounds straight swiss.
Thats as much as I have just now, but if you're interested in principle please drop a post in here. I'll post more when I get told it. |

well I've wanted to go to Sweden for a couple of years now, so I suppose the kind of info that I would be after would be of the 'international travel and accomodation' kind.
You know the thing:
nearest airport
good (read cheap) accomodation as close to the even as possible
what else would be happening at the event
...stuff like that  |

no real details yeton the event...there are at least three gaming societies in the city and I don't even know if there is going to be a cooperation on this or whatever...
Nearest airport to here would be Stockholm Arlanda...its about half an hour away and there's a bus link to the city center. If the con is anything like the ones I've been to then accomodation will be a floor somewhere included in the fee (don't quote me on this). |

I shock really get around to asking the people who's idea this was if its actually going ahead....
