Guard Skill..
I did a search, and didn't get the answer I wanted...

My Zon Blitzers, I am gearing them up with the Guard Skill...
1st time for them...

I understand how it works on Offense, but going against a team on defense that has Guard...

OK, on Offense:

L = Amazon Linewoman
G = Amazon Blitzer with Guard
H = Human Lineman

1 )
HHH
LGL
Linewoman on both sides of the Guard Blitzer, can throw a 2 Die Block... Correct???

2 )
HH
GL
Linewoman can throw a 2 Die Block at either one of the Human Lineman ...correct????

__________________________________________________________

OK, now on Defense:

L = Amazon Linewoman
G = Amazon Blitzer with Guard
H = Human Lineman

1 )
LGL
HHH
Human Lineman, can only throw a 1 Die Block at a Linewoman, or is it 2 Die Block my Favor????
- or -
If the Human Lineman throws the Block at the Blitzer, its only a 1 Die Block????

2 )
HH
GL
If one of the Human Linemen needs to block the Linewoman to clear a path... Is it a 2 Die block my Favor????

Offense:

1. Correct.
2. Correct.

Defense:

1. Two-die block your favor on the linewoman; one-die block on the Blitzer. (Guard doesn't matter when blocking the blitzer.)
2. Two-die block in your favor.

OK, correct me if I'm wrong here, but I haven't noticed a difference in offense or defense. Guard just lets you assist in blocks even when you're in an extra tackle zone, right? Because otherwise, we've been playing it wrong...

not sure what you mean there westonwyse.
Guard allows a player that could not assist because of opposing tacklezones actually lend an offensive or defensive assist.

the player must be in a legal position though, i.e. adjacent to the defender to lend an offensive assist or adjacent to the attacker to lend a defensive one. All guard does is negate the effect of TZs on the Guarding player.

Ohhhhh YEAH!!! Worship
1st Skill for all my Blitzers is gonna be "Guard"!!!

Linewoman will still get "Block" Both Down 1st... then maybe 1 or 2 more of them can get "Guard", if I roll Doubles.

I need the Blitzers out on the Wide Outs to protect my Catchers, so a few Linewomen with "Guard", wouldn't hurt... Mr. Green
