You'll get yours on your own turf then, Mike... Hopefully I'll still have cash for Underworld as well... |

Just occurred to me that the Death Bowl is the same weekend as the Spiky Open..what's the time difference? I think we'll be finishing each day's play and hitting the beer just as you guys are starting..one of these days we'll have to get a web-link sorted.. |

The time difference is 5 hours so at kickoff of the first round of the Death Bowl it'll be 2pm for you guy's
I already looked into getting a web connection at the tournament (dang you Indy for putting ideas in my head )It's just not possible this year. The cost of setting that up is not a lot but more than I can spend this year. Maybe next year.

Spent last night watching the Red Sox beat the Yankees on their home turf while getting my team in shape for the tourney.
What form do the rosters have to be on? The standard one from the boxed set? The downloadable one from bloodbowl.com?
Thanks...sorry I'm a tourney Noob
Oh yeah...hotel....I have to book one soon. Where did everyone decide on?
Thanks,
Rob |

Either roster will be fine. As long as it looks like a standard roster there's no problem. At any rate I've got a whole stack of roster sheets in case anyone needs any.
I'll be staying at Hotel CyberHare myself Don't know where everyone else is staying.
It would probably be a good idea for those of you coming fom out of town to have my cell number in case you get lost or whatever. If anyone wants it PM me and I'll pass it along to you.

Ok, so it's pretty late in the game to be announcing this but hey, it couldn't be helped.
I've just been informed that each participant in the tournament will be receiving an extremely limited edition Resurrection Gutter runner fig. This fig was only ever given out at Blood Bowl resurrection and the Death Bowl will be the only other tournament where you can get your hands on one.
So, if you were looking for yet one more reason to not miss this tournament you just got it.

Better question...where can you hire a Canadian to show up and play for the same price? |

For those of you who wanted to know (MEL!), I've just booked a room at:
Le Motel La Siesta
Greenfield Park
3179, boul. Taschereau, J4V 2H4
(450) 671-7555 / 1-800-463-4118
It was only $79 a night for two people! The woman I spoke to wasn't the most polite, but she did mention that I could have got the room with a whirlpool/spa! So it can't be too bad! So at least 2 people will be there.
(This is the hotel that Brian suggested on his site)
Another friend in the TBBF booked at:
Comfort Inn South
7863 Boul Taschereau
Longueuil, Quebec Canada J4Y 1A4
877-678-9330
It was $95 - $100, but is farther away on the same street.
Hope this helps! I left it to the last minute as usual. |

Don't sweat it Mel, no matter what your roster my Amazons are going to destroy all that stand before them. If I get to play that is. That we'll only find out at 9am Saturday morning.
I pick up Andy at the airport in 7 hours.

Hope the numbers work out in your favor!! To put so much effort in and not get to play would be wrong... |
