I have a question regarding the rules:
Which one is the definite rules book? The Handbook that you get in the boxed set, or the downloadable LRB? I bought my third boxed set last february and I want to know what set of rules is more updated to carry around. |

The Downloadable LRB 2.0 is the latest update right now. Almost everyone is using the 2.0 version. Hope this helps. |

...But before you download and print the whole book, you would be better off (and so would your printer) simply printing out the summary of changes which is also availible as a download.

Or better yet, wait for the post-BBRC review LRB, that will probably be available later this year. |

On the BBRC review, any idea on when we will be hearing things? There are a couple of big issues that could affect my local league. Mainly new teams, a few skill/trait issues etc. Anyone compiling a list or anything? Just hoping to see the review soon, our league starts next season with possibly near 25-30 teams late november. |

You don't have to be upto date. Nothing that says you can't start a season now, then incorporate any changes for the season after (or in the middle if your league wants).
I don't think you will get any real info out of them until mid-late Nov. |

Heh, thanks skulls. I understand that we can start and change later. We are already working on making our own rulings on new teams etc for the local league, but being that our next season starts in mid-late november, it should be interesting. Cutting it close. |

Its about changing of team rosters. So we wont start a leage and then two weeks late start agains because some rosters got changed quite serious. Oh I should state we want to start the leage in about 2 weeks. |

If there are major changes in the BBRC I think I'll explode. We have long running teams - some have been going for 3 years. Changing the rules all over the place messes everyone about and generally winds me up...
So hopefully (and I have been assured) that the changes will be MINOR. |

There is nothing that makes you change. You don't have to adopt the changes if you don't want to. No reason to hold everyone else back, just for you |

Personally I am waiting on the rules review before I post the OriginsBowl information. |
