Post subject: considering setting up a NYC league

I'm thinking about setting up a NYC league based in Manhattan at the Village Games workshop store ( pending approval fromt he manager there ). Several freinds and I just finished a league there so we are thinkning that another round of madness would be good.
I was thinking a preseason of 2 weeks followed by a 6 to 10 week season with scheduled matches for the week ( ie you get together with player XYZ and figure out a time to play them during your scheduled week ). The league would have a prize / cup at the end and I'd setup a website so that everyone can see league stats and results. Currently I have 3 confirmed people interested and 3 more that are making up there minds about it. If your interested or think this is a good idea just post here and let me know.
Also if you can think of any pitfalls that I should be looking out for in setting this up please post and let me know.
