Is it just me, or did this go straight to the printers without any proof reading whatsoever?!?
For example, and ignoring the innumerable spelling mistakes all the way through the thing, it says the Oldheim Ogres "turned up at the Blood Bowl final in 2461 even though they weren't playing, and were held in place by a powerful spell". It says the first & only time they won it was 3-2 vs. the Reavers about 15 years later!!
However, in the list of acheivements, it states "Blood Bowl Winners 2461"
I'm normally not too picky about minor things, but when the entire mag is full of them...
Another thing, the Halfling tactics - the guy says "[when planning a league roster] the first Treeman he usually gets is Deeproot"
That's be for one game then he's a frickin' star player! It sounded like recycled 3rd ed. stuff!!
Grumble grumble...
Still, the halfing team rocked, and although the match report format kinda sucked (not enough detail IMO) it was nice to finally have one. And I think the less said about the Ogre team the better |

Incidentally, the US online store now has a picture of the Ogre Thrower up. |

The thrower picture is there for two weks now.
But check out the pics of the four normal Ogre players at MO-UK
BTW, is it just me or is the English of the BBMagazine sort of "juvenile"?
C'mon, we BB coaches are serious gamers (sort of)! |

it just feels rushed out, without the care and attention us hardcore BB coachs want! I personally would be willing to help out with whatever they wanted me to, but somehow I doubt they'd be that amenable to that idea... |

I'm working on a Coach's Corner response to the Halfling article. After reading carefully and getting opinions from other folks (like the BBRC's Chet and TBB's Ian and others) ... yes, the Halfling article was CLEARLY written for 3rd edition rules and Andy just didn't catch that the tactics article was written for the wrong edition.
You may all now speculate how a 3rd edition article made it into BB Mag #6.

I'll speculate in a month when it gets across the pond and into my grubby little hands |
