I'm playing my second game in a local league, and I have never played against dwarves before, so I could use a few pointers. Here are links to the teams:
My team: http://www.pvv.org/~bjartka/bb/team.php?id=88
My opponent's team: http://www.pvv.org/~bjartka/bb/team.php?id=90
My #1 gutter runner has Sure Feet and I'm going to buy another lineman before the match. After that I'll probably save for a Rat Ogre since I'm schaduled to play against a lot of strong teams. |

IT doesn't have any SPP's or new skills for either team. Is that correct? Probably not as you mention sure feet. does your opponent have any new skills.
As far as general strategy, isolate and kill his AG3 players if possible. DONT get into a bashing contest. Leave as few players as possible next to a dwarf at the end of each turn. Remember he can only blitz once... |

The site hasn't been completely updated yet, so I don't know if he has anything extra. There's a good chance he doesn't, since his first game was a disaster. In any case we can't calculate with what we don't know...
Taking out AG3 players sounds good, and so does staying out of his tackle zones. It's pretty obvious but it's good to be reminded of it. |

Allways kick deep and swarm his ball carrying runner before he has a chance to cage. Your stormvermin should have no trouble blitzing the guy down and it should be easy for a gutter runner to pick up the ball for a defensive score. Use your 3 linerats on the line to tie up the longbeards as long as possible and maybe get a few behind his lines to lay down some tackle zones.
You scored 5 against woodies in your last game so offence shouldn't be a problem but it goes without saying to not get into a grinding block battle - you will come out worse.. |
