Where is everyone staying during the BB? I still have to book a hotel.
BTW I am taking some extra time off after the BB to check out some sites in northern England and Scotland - I am flying out of Glasgow later that week. I am thinking of checking out York, can anyone recommend some cool spots up that way? I'll be making my way up from the Isle of Wight (got to visit me Nan) the Friday before the tourney, anyone else coming up from that way? |

I know there was one guy from TBB coming from the isle of wight... check the list.
make sure you stop by newcastle upon tyne, it's best city in the UK
also voted 7th best city in the world for a night out, alongside places like Rio, Vegas etc. |

Ant, we should be able to get you in Longfang's car. Our mate Andy is travelling up from Portsmouth to Aldershot on the Friday, so shouldn't be a problem to grab a lift up to us and we'll all jump in Del's motor and go from here. (We haven't booked hotels yet either.) |

Doubt we'd get 5 in, it's not exactly roomy in the back! Maybe we can borrow a motor with some more room or something.
Also Venomous Breath is travelling up from Southampton, not sure whether he's bringing his wife again or how many of his league are attending (he's on holiday right now), but he may have room. Grumble's close in Chichester too and travelled up with us last year, and with juck101 from the IOW plus Fubar's on the list too and within 5 miles of us.
Might be worth sharing the cost of a minibus if enough people can take Fri and Mon off work, but I don't want to arrive within 10 mins of Bugman's closing on Fri night, and post tourney drinks on Sun. night are kinda important too.
I'll buzz some pms around and get hold of VB when he gets back, but don't go booking train tickets or anything just yet. |

The ECBBL is probably hiring a mini-bus to go up from London, Friday lunchtime ish. I reckon there will be a couple of spare seats if you want to share the expense. |

I'd be in for hiring a minibus DW, I'm sure it'll be a lot less than taking the train... lemme know what you find out. I can get to both Southampton and Portsmouth pretty easily from IOW. |

Anthony - Last year a bunch of us stayed at the Travel inn (myself, Tim, Shanipoo, Firebreather, Evil Git etc etc)...about ten minutes walk away.
I think there'll be a few people back there - I just booked there today for myself and Odium Khan.
If you're going to Scotland, I can recommend an excellent B&B in Stirling, right between Glasgow and Edinburgh. I'll PM you with the details. |

Sorry, Painta Man, I'm headed up on Thursday to visit with friends who live in West Bridgeford... I switched to the Travel Inn South near the GW HQ... |

I'm looking for a room as well (non-smoker). I'll be flying into Gatwick around noon on Fri and would be interested in a minibus instead of the train. |

Hopefully gonna be staying at the Travel Inn, but need to check the finances carefully first. |

I've just booked the hotel for the french crew with Yohann, Trambi and the rest at the Clarence hotel (65 £ for the 3 nights per people) If you're interested :
You can't really walk by but i'd rather pay 4 £ divided by 4 of taxi than 150 £ Beside, the barman kept the bar opened for us to play with a beer at nights.

God, I hope not! Not really sure if I can spring for the 2 nights or not, so I might be driving up (early) saturday morning. Hopefully though there should be overtime before that. |
