Ok I have a question about the leap skill.

here is my example.
O=empty square
X=player with leap
M=square being leaped over

OOO
XMO
OOO

My question is, can the leap be to any of the empty squares or does it have to follow a straight line? Let me show another diagram...

O=empty square
X=player with leap
M=square being leaped over
P=square landing to

OOO
XMP (correct?)
OOO

OOO
XMO (is this legal?)
OOP

Same goes for diaganal

XOO
OMO (or)
OOP

XOO
OMP
OOO

Any answers would help, hope my diagrams are not too confusing.

It can be to any of the 7 squares shown in your first diagram, i.e. any square next to the player you're leaping over.

Of course. And yes, you can also leap juste one square, but it still requires an expenditure of 2 MA.

The very earliest versions of this skill required you to leap over another player. This is the version on the Blood Bowl reference sheet that came with 3rd edition. However this was changed back in 3rd Ed Deathzone so that you can leap over any square whether occupied or not.

Since you can land in "any empty square adjacent to the square they are jumping over" (LRB2.0) it is clear that landing in a square adjacent to the one the player started from is quite OK and straight line jumps are not required.
