Howdy folks,
One rather odd, and probably needless Rules question.
I was once told, that Stand Firm prevented someone from falling down, should they fail the 2+ GFI roll.
Is this true? Or have I been Scammed?
I can't find confirmation of this in the LRB 3.0...
Help! |

I think you were scammed. Any failed GFI roll a player will fall. Stand firm will not fall on a failed dodge and will return to the square they were dodging from.
I had a similar question,
If the a player has stand firm and a GFI creates a dodge, which is rolled first? If the dodge is rolled first and fails will the GFI still have to be rolled? This can all affect where the stand firm player has fallen if there is a failed GFI roll.
My buddies and I play it GFI is rolled first then dodge. Since you had to GFI to get there. I know this is wrong because the rules never specify what has to be rolled first but it's one of the things we house ruled. |

Normally in Bologna we do the same... always before the GFI, and then the other dice rolls... |

Yep, I think it is just normal to make first GFI, then Dodge roll...
After all, you Dodge to leave a square, but if you can not leave the square in first place, you should not try to dodge... |
