No, you can't. Two different GR's took VLL. Then I got doubles again on one of them. |

I'd say give him dauntless. if you can get the extra assist from the other GR, and you opponent holds the ball carrier back for the throw etc, then your almost guaranteed to get 2 dice on any player, then the GR'll be away with the ball |

Did any of them get VLL on a double 5? If so, you just understood first hand why i prefer giving them +1 MA on a double 5 rather than VLL! He could have MA 11 now... |

very weird idea as you have two one turners, is pick dump off. on defensive duty he can pick up a loose ball if you can strip with anther player. Guess a one turn player will be hit (!) but can then dump to the player that hit for the strip! total bonkers defense but could get him killed for such audacious idea... but could be good very good.
maybe due to his gifted life spikes is better long term idea. I would go for dump off and see how long it works for |

Dump off is the most useless skill ever on a skaven team. With their speed, once they have the ball, it's usually in the end zone. Dump off is a bad skill for any team really, but for skaven it's even worse! |

I've found dump off to be extremely good on one of my 'pro' Elf catchers. Combined with their ST 3 and nerves of steel it makes it nigh on impossible to stop a 2 turn TD. I'm not sure how useful it would be for Gutter Runners though. |

On a team with 2 one-turn scorers (even more impossible to stop) and no nerves of steel, i really can't see the use. |

Take dauntless now. He already is a defensive specialist now. He needs skills that are good on defense, and dauntless is certainly one of them.
Other good options are spikes, to keep him alive, and nerves of steel, to help on interceptions.
Whatever you do, block and pass block should be next. |

I guess I should go with dauntless as I play Dwarves in the semi-finals and then it will be either dwarves or wood elves in the finals (assuming I survive next round).
I think I'm going to be boring and take block on the other one, even though I really want to take Sprint. He's no good to me dead... |

I'm getting as lucky as you Mel: my skaven team has rolled 4 skills in 4 games so far, all doubles!
2 GR's with VLL;
1 GR with +1 ST (no need for Dauntless with this defensive specialist!)
Thrower with Strong Arm.
