You'd have to ask them Zombie. But I'll admit that winning a critical reroll from Cheering Fans, a lost player from Throw a Rock, or a Pitch Invasion can win an entire game by itself.
That effect should not be underestimated. I know some players think the risk/reward is not worth taking the extra FF ... but I know several coaches who swear by being able to win those rolls.

Great pics.
One of my arms made it in two pics, & part of my head/hat made it in another.

If anyone has the group shot of the coaches after the GenCon, could you please e-mail it to me at clan-skaven@nfgh.com
Thanks.
(I want to put it up on our website) |

Can I just say after seeing the pictures...I am more sorry than ever that I didn't make the GenBowl. I also want to say that I will never see Star Wars Eposide 4 in the same light again after the seeing the picture of the Stormtrooper that made her way through the room. She moved me.

Arrgh! I just thought I'd come over and say what a great time hanging out with everyone was. The tourney was great but it seems like a lot of work. Meeting, eating, drinking, and just hanging out with, clowning around, and making friends with like-minded fanatics is just worth more than you can imagine though. Our little band of merry men is growing and that can only be a good thing. I had a great time and I'll miss you all till we meet again next year. |

I have to admit that I lost every kickoff result that had me rolling against my opponent. I did my best by holding them to only one TD the whole tourney but I did score a few times and it was an issue.
Oh Zombie, Ogre vs Ogre was awful cool. We had two different rosters as well. He outstrengthed me with 6 Ogres to my 5 but my extra Goblin and Reroll seemed to make a difference. It was a tough game but immensely enjoyable due to it being Xtreme, all-around good guy and great coach. |

With retrospect, would you say that it would have paid off to have one less reroll and 7 more FF? |

Have to agree. I think this was my favorite tournament game I have played to date. Great matchup and fun on the pitch and a great fun opponet on the other side of the table. Thanks for bieng the most sporting coach snots. |

Thanks Xtreme! How do you think you would have done if you had another reroll? Do you think it would've made a difference?
Zombie, I wouldn't say so. Even having the full contingent of Goblins, they end up off the pitch eventually and I ended up having to rely on the Ogres to do odd things. That and their lack of Block, make that 2nd reroll vital. |

I'm sure I would have done better with 6 gobbos and another reroll, but I just really want more ogres then goblins on the team so I couldn't bring myself to take that roster. |
