Apparently a team of Amazons. I've beaten all three of you at least once so I fear you not. |

I'll play for Team Canada (if they are smart, that won't happen)
The night before the GenCon in a hotel room mini tourney I messed up OMM pretty good.
So Canada's worst coach shamed one of USA's so called best coaches?
If you Yanks can't beat the worst in Canada, how do you expect to handle the best in Canada?
So shut yer flaps, roll yer dice, & BRING IT!
"GO CANADA!" |

Clan-Skaven-
Maybe you and I can have a little warm-up? I don't know if I'm the worst US Coach...I might be more of an unknown quantity...but my tournament track record doesn't look too good...what do you say?

I'm always up for a game, but your too skilled for me your record is not that bad, your 2 wins, 0 ties, 3 loses. vs. NAF coaches.
I'm after 3 tournies, 0 wins, 3 ties, 8 loses. vs. NAF coaches.
But a challenge is still a challenge, so in an undercard to the CANADA vs. USA challenge, will see us bang heads, roll dice, curse nuffle & drink beer! (God I love BB Tournies!)
I'll see you on the pitch Rob!

Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa here....
@ Cyberhare: 1-0 down at halftime where I abandon for sleep is a "win" only under the strictest of interpretations...
@ Clan-Skaven: 2 -1 at the half, with your Skaven against my first-time Vamps is hardly "messed up...pretty good"?!?! And there certainly is no "shame" in a game played with and based upon die rolls - your obsession for a NAF win, Rod, is distorting your perspective...
I've been very fortunate to have traveled a good deal playing BB and meeting a great set of coaches - in talking with many of the best coaches from all over the world, one thing can be agreed upon: in a game played with dice, it takes a fair amount of luck to win any tournament and on any given day, anything can and usually does happen...
There are a great number of BB coaches in the US whom I consider far better technically than I am - Chet Z., Gabriel G., Marcus C., Chris G., Tom A., to list but a few - NAF ranking is only one measure and in my mind not the most important... For me Snots, Darthnoir, Jaylazer and many others are among the best in the USA because they always remember the real purpose - to have a great time playing this game we all enjoy...
So I'm all for having some fun with USA v Canada but I am reminded of a conversation with Yohann Miniere (Longshot) and the captain for Team France who picks his team based upon their spirit and attitude towards the game, not the highest ranking...
Let's at least keep the trash talking civil - I for one see way too much of the other kind in sports and games I used to enjoy... |

Bah I went on to score a second TD against Ken in that game so I'll count it.
You know I don't put much stock in my NAF rating. If I did I wouldn't show up to ref as many tourneys as I do. |

We may be BBers up here, but we aren't socially challenged. A 7th game is hardcore when theres pints to be had. ![Wink](modules/PNphpBB2/images/smiles/icon_wink.gif) |

If there's a bet on beer involved, you'll have to count me out. I don't drink. I'll just be there cheering for my team then! |

Wish we had a Bugmans Bar over here, don't think they will let us drink and hang out at the Battle Bunker in Oakville... |

I don't know if they'd let you drink beer at Tim Hortons or Dunkin' Donuts, but they're open all night and i know they let you play chess or their tables all night if you want. |
