How many squares do Bull Centaurs occupy?
and
If the B.C. occupies more than 1, does its tackle zone change to represent this?

Welcome to the board!
All players take up one square. This was not always the case, but it has solved related problems. |

All players are considered to only take up one square, regardless of actual model size. |

Ditto. But man I just love (interpret this as you will Squig) my bull centaurs. Heck, I even love my minotaur even though he has wild animal... |

Bull Centaurs for President ! They are great ! What skill does yours have Melifaxis ?
I got one with Break Tackle, Block, Catch; the other one has Block and Strip Ball (he's nasty !).
For your Mino, I find that Wild Animal is less scary with Block... Planning on giving him Piling On as his next skill, or Razor Sharp Claws on a double.

I went with Sure Hands and Block so far as he seems to be the feature back of the team. Break Tackle is the next planned acquisition. Hopefully I can crank out some more SPP's in my next match.
I just bought my 2nd BC, and I plan on making him more defensive - Block, Pass Block, Strip Ball, Tackle, Sure Hands...
For Doubles I think I'd go with Dodge, Catch, or Leader.
My minotaur has Block, and Piling On is next on my list.
My CD's are all taking Guard as their 1st skill, and my evil little hobgoblins will mostly be taking Block, Mighty Blow, Dirty Player, or Sure Hands...I do have a Kicker though. |

I did mostly the same for my CD's : almost all Guard as their first skill, and then Mighty Blow. I also have one Dauntless player that got me rid of the Deathroller in the first turn of the league's final !

You can mount the BC's on 25mm circles without any hacking and they fit on juuust right too! Alternatively stick 'em on the 40mm circle and pretend like they're a Big Guy, then laugh manically when you use Team ReRolls on them. Heh heh.
Strip Ball and Break Tackle with Block - Hoo Yah! |

Since we are talking BC and CD, why do they not have acces to some of the Physical skill... imagine a BC, with claw... or an extra arm... Could get realy NASTY.. and fun, because right now, they seem like some puny dwarf team to me. (no I have NOT played them or against them, but they seem to lacke a little bit of Bite). |

Chaos Dwarfs are one of the better teams out there. They have the speed a regular Dwarf team has, and don't give up much in the way of toughness, if they protect the hobgoblins correctly. They'd be way too dangerous with any more Physical mutations than the one Minotaur they can get already. |

They do seem on the high end of the power spectrum now. Additional mutations would be cool, but there would have to be a price. |

... and yet the team either received comments of "comedy team", or looks of "Chaos *whats*?" whenever anyone went past the stadium I was at. Weird. I still don't think that a team of low-armoured Human Linemen (or slow Skaven and Dwarf Linemen are terribly powerful. Add those two Bull Centaurs and it gets more playable, but when compared to the Orc teams 4xBlitzers + 4x Black Orcs, well i'll take the comedy!

I think I worked _too_ hard and lobbied a _little_ too much to make them more powerful in the first rules review.
Look at the Rankings. My new friend from CanCon Paul Deacon is top of the rankings with his Chaos Dwarves.
I tried hard to make them more competitive than they were in the original rules, because they langushed down with the halflings and goblins. Guess what - now they take on humans & Orcs!
My next lobby will be for the elves...... |
