This is clearly a T.O. take!

Toronto had it's chance last year and blew it Razz I believe we'll have the TO crowd outnumbered this year with Montreal Coaches so it's going to be a little harder to get the numbers lock on the championship game this time around.

Besides, Karl is going to win the title with his halfling team and then mock the rest of us, deservedly so, for the rest of the year Laughing

The only lighting you'll do is to point the spotlight at me- the winner! Twisted Evil

To all you non-believers... The Squirtville Bellybusters are going to invade your country and come home with the prize! I may spare Brian just a bit for letting the light of halfling dominance shed upon an otherwise "Middle Age-esque" crew of touqe wearers. (Actually that may be my big advantage...I am likely to have the only player wearing a touque in the whole tourney Very Happy)

@Spazz- What happened to the cat? I liked the cat.
@Brian- Am I the only citizen of the Empire travelling up to the Chaos Wastes for the Death Bowl?

You just may be there Rob. I've heard nothing from any other US coaches that makes me think otherwise Sad I know Mel wanted to come but, not for the lack of will, simply can't make it. Omm is likewise. Ken, well Ken is a lazy bum Very Happy Something about traveling too much Rolling Eyes

So basically I figure that the Americans are just afraid of the exotic Quebec women and realize that the home court advantage that my Amazons have will dominate anything they can muster Wink

Rob you're going to have to give your countrymen heck for sending a lone halfling team into the Deathbowl to defend their honor.

I've posted a picture of some of the tournament trophies on the HR website. You can see it here.

Yes that is indeed a wooden spoon at the bottom of the picture. That is the Deathbowl legacy Wooden spoon. I'm going to let the last place coach take it home as long as he agree's to return the following year to pass it on to the next "winner" of the wooden spoon. It about 3.5 feet long Smile

Rob,

"Squirtville Bellysbusters"? I love it! It makes it sound like they have a juicy centre that gushes into the mouth of a devouring troll. Kind of like one of those kids' fruit snacks!

Too bad they have to die...... Twisted Evil

Re- the avatar - I know, I know, I really liked it too... but too many people were commenting that it was promintently used by someone else already. <sigh> This one is temporary until I come up with something better.

But I was thinking of honouring/defacing you team by naming my Nurgle's rotters - the Bellysquirters. Kinda appropriate wouldn't you say?
