Had a great time at the tournament last weekend. This finally gave me an official NAF ranking.
I am 5th for Lizardmen team in the US and 30th in the world. All though this doesn't say to much for there are so few lizard teams in the US. Next time I think I will take silibi and for go my one reroll. I went 2-2 in the tournament. Not sure overall how I ended up. Going into the 4th round I was in second place and had to face the Ogres of Snotsngrots. They beatup my saurus good, but could keep my skinks down. He won. |

Here is the quick rundown:
1st- Steve Newman aka Snew or snotsngrots: Ogres he went 3-0-1 tied by my halflings (he also had most sporting, and was most travelled, Portland OR)
2nd- Dana Ogle aka Ogeee or brushman: Humans
3rd- Henry Sherrill aka Henry4th: Chaos Dwarfs (came in 3rd by 1 point)
Best Sportsman Award- went to Josh Drewry: Skaven (2nd in voting [by 3 pts] but Steve didn't need 2 trophies)
Best Painted Team- Josh Drewry: Skaven with a unanimous vote
Most Casualties- Geoff: Chaos with 14 in 4 games
Most Casualties Against- Doug Staudt aka Dougernaut: Goblins with 23 against in 4 games
Most TDs- Dana Ogle: Humans 10 in 4 games
Least TDs Allowed (all 4 games)- Steve Newman: Ogres allowed 2 in 4 games
My halflings went a feeble 1-2-1 (win vs lizards, tie vs ogres, losses vs both wood elfs and undead
No duplicate Teams showed up
A total of 13 people showed, only 9 were able to play in all 4 games and a total of 8 NAF coaches were present
The new model to be sculpted is an Ogre head coach.
We missed a total of 4 local NAF coachs that I know of |

From what I heard he was freaking awesome again. If he keeps this up I may need to get a JJ for my team. |

JJ was a 1 Goblin CD-wrecking crew. He took 2 CD blockers out with casualties and performed several blitzes that put key defenders on the pitch for a turn or 2. Couldn't handle the ball to save his life but the other skills more than made up for it. That Goblin is a machine! A little, green machine! |

I am going to try for next years Gencon. Just getting the vacation and money together is the issue at hand. |

Next year the Ogres or whatever team I bring want a piece of your team. It would have been cool to get together afterward and see what the most TDs scored team/coach could have done against the least TDs allowed team/coach.
You guys were great and worth driving all that way for. There's a good local base there. I wish I could say the same for Portland. |

You'll all be happy to know that any loss you had to my team doesn't count against you since the team was not posted as official till the Wednesday after the tourney. The RR was completed the week prior so the team was, theoretically, official. 4 days earlier and things would have been different. You still have to live with your shame though. You know you all lost fair and square. All except the Halflings who held me to a tie.
I'm of the mindset that any roster that had ST only skills for their CDs and Mummies or that took a secret weapon that isn't normally allowed on the team weren't official either so they shouldn't count as well but I think I'm alone there. I'm a little bitter if you couldn't tell. |

Okay so that I'm not confused here ... HUH?????
Are you guys agreeing to our arguments for the Xtreme's and Snotsngrots 11 NAF games played with Ogres?
If so I'll re-enter the results ... but I don't want to do this until I completely understand that the NAF is saying this is okay.
Woody ... as much as I'd love for what you said to be true ... I don't think that is what your NAF board members said. Please verify what is going down so that I don't make more work for Anthony and co.
