Yeah, skaven are already a top tier team..they don't need any help..VLL gutter runners running around would make them even more dangerous.
there are already plenty of Skaven coaches. This rule is to promote Chaos playing in tourneys. |

thanks Bryan. I think it puts more emphasis on wins and makes bonus points a little harder to get.

Exactly why I like it so much, and probably will be the starting point I use for my tournament rules. |

Quote: caused 1 more cas by fouling or blocking +5 pts
caused 2 or more cas by fouling or blocking +10pts
Probably want to reword that Ken,
I'm pretty sure youre intent was 1 or 2 more then your opponnet but someone could misunderstand it the way it is. |

Who needs more Chaos playing? Would that include Rotters? I'd be interested to see if it does draw more coaches to Chaos or if they're already set in their ways. I suspect that the coaches that play Chaos didn't need this incentive and the other coaches that weren't going to take Chaos, still don't. I might. I don't take Block anyway. All those mutations are tempting. That'd let me try some different ones I may not normally take. 5439 Two Heads sounds interesting. Maybe one with Extra Arms to go with the Big Hand Beastman.
It just sounds like too much. I'm just wondering if they need this or if you just perceive them as a second tier tourney team. Are Lizzies next? Everyone gets doubles each round? Maybe Orc linemen should get extra skills since people don't usually take them and if they do, they don't ever give them skills, instead putting Block on the Black Orcs.
I'll watch and see how it turns out. There may be no issue. It's interesting to be sure. It will screw up ranking though as I suspect that a 4 mutation Choas team has a little better chance of winning games than one that doesn't. If a Coach does play them and ends up top ranked, was it his skill or the rules that were allowed? |

lol. If a chaos team wins the tourney...more power to him. Lizzies are pretty good tourney team already.
The way I see it, if a chaos team is taking mutations then they aren't taking block, sure hands and other skills they usually take which would balance them right out. Also I'd like to see someone take two heads cuz no one ever does in league play.
If someone else wants to power up another team then let'em. Rankings mean squat to me.
It's about having fun, and I think seeing some mutations at a tournament would be neat. Right now with a choice between two skills or a mutation a chaos player would take 2 skills. |

well many thanks to rob who gave me an awesome clone of his own site
Well Baltimore Gamesday is cramping my style again. They are the same day as my tourney so I'm gonna move it. What would work best for everyone? May 28/29th (memorial Day weekend?) or April 30/May 1st or May 21st/22nd (I know this is bad for Jaylazer).....I'm leaning towards April 30/May 1st. |

I would prefer May 28/29th. The 21st and 22nd are out (like you said)...can't miss my wife's B-day 2 years in a row for BB. April 30th is too close to our tourney up here (April 16-17 Details to come very soon).
I might be able to do the April 30th one but I can't guarantee it. |

Ken-
As you may have surmised from my/their performance this weekend...the Gobbos are retired. I'll need to update my registration info for your tourney...should I just PM you the new information?

Memorial day weekend, eh? I should be able to make it, and there are a number of NAF coaches in the area (Baltimore) who I don't think check the site often and would love to come. I'll spread the good word. |
