No beer??? Shame on you!
I'm not an uncouth barbarian you know...
So why do you drink wine then? Going to belgium and drinking wine instead of beer is like going to Italy and eating a hamburger at Mc Donalds instead of pasta. |

comparing fine Italian wine to the syphilitic urine served as beer in Vlaanderen convinces me you have already drunk too much of the stuff... |

@Norse: There is a small but fine selection of local wines in Belgium, but mainly outside Flanders. Give the a try next time (or drink Ciney Brune ). |

@Tuernredvenom: Heineken is not a beer! Besides you don't come to Belgium to drink wine. Although we have some excellent wines in Belgium (in Flanders as wel as Wallonie), our beer is the best in the whole world.
Hey a belgian fellow can be proud of his beer (it's one of the few things we can be proud of)! |
