The match is over and what was the crowd's opinion.
When rollign on the FF table.
Which casualties do you use:
Those inflicted by blocks
Those inflicted by failed dodges
Those inflicted by Fouls
Those inflicted by the crowd
Those inflicted by failed GFI
I'd say ONLY the first one, as you get SPP's for that and the LRB sais:
'Team inflicted 2+ Cas.'
please make me (us) wise |

We use only the casualties inflicted by blocks. Otherwise you are keeping track of official and unofficial casualties, and it's too much work. |

Officially (I think) you use ALL casualties inflicted upon the other team, regardless of the source. This includes fouls, shoving someone off the pitch, pitch invasion, throw a rock, failed dodges, gobbled goblins, and so on. |

It's not that difficult to keep track of; just count the number of players in the opponents dead and injured box after the game and add 1 if an apothecary was used.

You don't have many Undead teams or Trolls in your league, do you? |

The LBR (page 45) gives the modifiers.
The modifiers state a quite clear 'Team inflicted 2+ casualties' This means IMHO that Cas not inflicted by the team (thus the fans or the player himself (GFI) ) do not count.
Failed dodges are could be a point of discussion but I think the most simple way would be to use just the cas that earned SPP's. |

Sorry but I agree with Cervidal

After all a fan doesn't care how you get hurt he just takes pleasure in watching your mangled corps get dragged off, and if it was his rock that killed the opponents star player he's going to take even more pleasure out of it! |

in our group we use all casualties. with the rosters we use its really easy to keep track of. just mark a space in the casulty box in the match record column and not in the player's box. |

IMO its not clear in the LRB which is intended. We play all casualties count. |

I agree with Dave. The LRB states 'Team inflicted 2+ casualties', as he said.
In all cases where the rule is in question, always follow the wording of the LRB unless your league house-rules against it. It doesn't matter what makes more sense logically; the rulebook is worded the way it is for a reason. Unless there is an official change, what the LRB says, goes. |

I could be wrong on this, but if I recall, the way the LRB uses the word casuality, it seems to reffer to only those that earn SPP's. I also believe that any other kind of casuality is called an injury. Again, I may be wrong on this (I don't have the rule book in front of me at the moment). If I am, maybe the BBRC should look into this difference in terms. Anyway, this is the way I see it, and so in my league, we only count casualities that earn SPP's.

At the moment only injuries caused by blocks count as casualties. It would seem to me that only those injuries caused by blocks would then count towards the 2+ casualties required for a bonus on the FF table. |

I know the REBBL LRB Challenge PBeM league had a big discussion about this when it started, and we finally went with only cas from blocks counted, though in our last TT league we counted all cas, so unless it's for a GW official tournament I don't think it matters, as long as everyone plays the same in your league. |

While we are on the subject is there any way if someone blocks a player off the field (getting a defender back and down result), that the blocker can try and beat the armour and claim the SPP's? |
