I know this is short notice, but the AGBBL will be running the BloodBowl Tournament at Games Workshop s Conflict Baltimore.
The dates are February 19-20, 2004 and will take place at the Baltimore Convention Center.
There is no fee to play in the tourney, but it costs $10 to get into Conflict. GW has pledged to provide prize support, so hopefully we ll have some nice prizes to give out.
I have set up a website where the rules can be downloaded:
Bashin By the Bay
As an aside, our GW rep has pledged support to try their best to make this the premeire BloodBowl event on the East Coast. This year may be a little late due to the cancelling and rescheduling of the event and such, but you have to start somewhere.
Anyway, I ll probably be bringing a handful of guys from Harrisburg (hopefully 5-10). It would be great if the VA/DC crowds and Philly guys hopped on board! So who can make it??
PS.. could an admin please sticky this. Thanks. |

I take it that you mean February 19-20.
It is a 8-9 hour drive from Canada, but I am thinking about it (if I can get someone to car pool with me).
Any accomodation arrangements available? |

Thanks for pointing out the typo... a 10 day tourney would be cool wouldn t it?
I have to make some calls to hotels... from past experience at Games Days and GTs nobody gives discounts... it s the Inner Harbor which is huge tourist area.
I recommend the Days Inn.. it s right around the corner from the convention center and not too overwelmingly expensive (even after you add in the ridiculous Baltimore 'city tax' and such). |

Two Words....
ARRRRRGGGGHHHHH GOBS!!!
EDIT:
::LEARNING CURVE ALERT:::
This just in...Stunty Teams not for tournament play. After being outscored 14-1 in three games on day 1, I am borderline insane.
Oh and by the way...the Secret Weapon Gobbos actually make the team weaker. The low AV/Stunty combo is going to leave you short on players to begin with...then you have the ref tossing players out of the game as well. If you don't get lucky with the injury rolls with the Ball And Chain dude...the game can be over after 1 or 2 drives. |

I m afraid the software does not track Cas by game. I have a paper trail though from the game result forms. If you want I can list the details from them. |

Since inquiring minds wanna know I can do that for next time. No prob! It s already part of the league software that I created. The tourney program is just a gutted version of it. |
