The Ordo Disordo Game Club, in association with the Gamer's Matrix, would like to personally invite everyone to the First Annual Derek Lee Memorial VALHALLA BOWL on Sunday, April 10, 2005 at Gamer's Matrix in Metairie, Louisiana from 9am-6pm.
This is to honor one of our local Blood Bowl players, Derek Lee, who passed away on December 24th, 2004 at his parent's home. He was only 21 years old. Derek touched each of us deeply and his passing was a tremendous shock to everyone who knew him.
An entrance fee of $5.00 will be collected and ALL proceeds will be given to the American Diabetes Association (and if you can donate more, it would be most appreciated).
The Valhalla Bowl will be a Swiss style tourney using the LRB 3.0 with revisions through April 2005. The typical 1,000,000 gps. for team construction, with one Big Guy and one Star Player allowed. All NAF and non-NAF members are welcome to attend.
If you can attend, please contact Charles Many of Gamer's Matrix at (504) 780-1655 or e-mail Guy Murphy at gemurphy3@yahoo.com for further information. We want this to be an annual event, so please come and enjoy yourselves as we remember one of our friends. |
