Did a bit of research into this today and there are a few postnuke or phpbb mods out there which could (with a bit of work) be used to create any type of voting system either on the front page or in the form. both limited to one member one vote and hidding results until after the election is closed.
If we ever decide what changes we want to make then there is stuff out there to make it work
