The tournie has no upgrades between games and injuries don't carry over so I'll be playing with just this list below, let me know your thoughts:
1 X Rat Ogre
2 X Storm Vermin
1 X Thrower
3 X Gutter Runner
5 X Lineman
2 X Rerolls
1 X Fan Factor
Basically the game is straight up touchdowns. |

Drop the Rat Ogre for another Lineman and a reroll. Switch the Thrower to a Gutterrunner. |

I'm setting up a team to go to a tourney in June. There will be upgrades, so it's not quite the same as your scenario, but here's what I'm starting with:
4x Gutter Runners
2x Storn Vermin
6x Linerats
3 ReRolls
2 Fan Factor
I understand that statistically, having to get a 3+ on one of two rolls (for the Thrower to pick up the ball for example) is better than having to get a 2+ on one roll. However, I *love* the idea of having Agility 4 players on the pitch, especially when they have the ability to gain skills between matches.
I'm not a big fan of the Rat Ogre, and I tend to agree with Banelord's suggestion to drop the Thrower. If you were in a league, a Thrower would be a good choice. In a tournament, you'll throw many more blocks than passes.... |

I think Geggster normally drop a SV to a linerat, and then buys the apoth which is reserved for the GRs too.
Gutter Runners are much better than throwers, so unless you intend to skill up the thrower I'd always spend the extra money on the GR. |

If injuries don't carry over to the next round, then why not
2 Storm Vermin
2 Gutter Runners
7 Line Rats
5 Re-Rolls
1 Fan Factor
-or-
2 Storm Vermin
3 Gutter Runners
1 Thrower
5 Line Rats
3 Re-Rolls
1 Fan Factor
Personally, I would go my first choice for a tourny that you get no skills and no injuries carry over. |

I played the following setup on a couple of tournaments and like it very much:
2 Storm Vermins
3 Gutter Runners
1 Thrower
6 Linemen
3 Re-Rolls
3 Fan Factor
With this 12 Player-Setup I use 3 GR in offense and only 2 in defense to have more ST3-Players on the field. I´d start adding the Rat Ogre for Rating 110 Tourneys. |

Can you take mutations instead of the traits? |

I've tried 2 dirty player in a roster of 13 skaven...it realy works very good!!!
Couse if you are able to kick the other team whit skaven... you will be the winner... you can play whit a few player..they can't. |

I've been at the same tournment and chose a (possibly) higly scoring team. It performed very well (15TD in 6 games).
7 linemen (1 dirty player)
3 gutter (2 block, 1 strip ball)
2 sv (1 tackle)
1 thrower (AG+1)
3RR
3FF
apotek
If you want to score don't miss the thrower and leave the rat ogre deep in in its dungeon.
I wouldn't bother more than 3 GR, 4 S2 players in a team are really over the top and 2-3 GR are quite enough to score every 2-3 turn. |

Just for the records, Bareuf won the TD awards with 15 in 6 games... |
