Firstly I'd like to thank the both the other candidates and the members who contributed to the election debate, some very good points raised which I've taken on board, as Jim "Old Man Monkey" Lanier mentioned elsewhere, it was a very worthwhile process.
Secondly I'd like to thank the members who took the time to send out pm's to the whole membership, I was encouraged by the numbers that voted in the end as a result, and a thank you too to all the members that logged on and voted (whoever you voted for!).
Initially we'll be looking to:
- Assess where we are with the Tournament Pack and really push ahead with that. (I'll post again with an update and quite probably request some volunteers from the membership who are able to help with specific parts).
- Update the 'Contact Us' page with current details of RTOs etc.
-Work with Cris "Sputnik" Schmitt on getting a "How to go about getting my tournament sanctioned" doc. drawn up and made available on site.
There's obviously a whole host of other things that need doing, but the Tournament Pack is really the big thing we need to get implemented at this point to allow us to focus fully on other things.
There's a lot of hard work ahead, and I'm looking forward to it immensely, I believe wholeheartly in this organisation and hope to have a positive contribution during my term as President. Expect more frequent updates on where we're at, what we're working on, and more drawing from the membership to help out with moving the NAF forwards.
The future's bright! Onwards and Upwards!

Roll up your sleeves, boys and girls, it's time to go to work... I for one could use some help with getting bids and pricing on whatever the final components are... |

Once the determination is made on what items are going into the pack, getting bids and price quotes for each of them... is that better? |

I think he means, if for example (out of the blue) it is decided to have blue D6 dice with red dots for all participants of a tourney available as part of the tournament package. Then he needs help to find a company who makes dice like these and sells them the cheapest so they can be added to the tourney pack. |

I can help out. There are a few local company's that make dice around here and I can contact them to get quotes if you like. Just let me know volumes etc I assume we'd be shipping some to N. America, some to Europe, and some to Australia? |

Hold on here a minute......I just said that was an example....just a train of thought....nothing serious.....I don't think the NAF will supply dice for every tourney anyway (would be cool, though) |
