BloodBowl Tournament in Lincoln (UK) - willplatten
Gobstyk's are looking into running a 2 day BloodBowl Tournament this year. The usual BB Tournament rules will probably apply etc. Hopefully with NAF support/registration etc.
We are planning to run it at Lincoln University, in their sports hall, food etc will all be included or at least catered for.
Just as a quick roll call of who would be up for a weekend of BloodBowl in Lincoln? I know that we are a bit lacking in the BB Tournament front in the UK & I hope this will become a yearly event for us to run.
When would be the best time of year to run it?
I know the GW BB GT is on 7th-8th May this year, as I will be on the phone to buy a ticket on Saturday.
What other large GT's are there that you BloodBowlers would go to,which we need to avoid?

Check the NAF tournament list for details of all the tourneys sanctioned so far.
Off the top of my head, big tournaments by month are:
Feb - none
March - Dungeonbowl, Germany
April - Lutece, France/Pearly Kings II, UK
May - Blood Bowl
June - Barnabowl, Spain
August - Albion Cup II, UK
September - Carnage III, UK
October - Spiky IV, UK
November - Eurobowl III, UK (what with us winning it last year  )
December - free |

| Not sure if it's classed as a big tourney, but Newquay Bowls in August as well. |

I can now confirm that we are go with the BloodBowl Tournament in Lincoln at the University.

| Thats a real shame you have put it on the same weekend as Newqauy Bowl. One weekend either side I would have come to this. Never mind. |

Excellent!
Well having met yourself and Tim at the first game in Nottm Will, looks like I will need to make it.
What rules are you setting? I ask because someone like myself who is doing 13-15 tournies this year will take a different team to each one.
If you are TR100 or TR110 or even TR115 it helps plan which team for which tourney and knowing if you plan to allow Star players and weapons etc helps too.
Some cheap B&B (or youth hostel perhaps) ideas might be useful.
