Just to add 2c worth along this lines, getting the game, support from GW and where it is going.
For those who are not aware and I am not sure if Cyberhare or anyone else mentioned it, but Bloodbowl has lost all retail support here in Canada, along with MOST if not all the specialists line.
No need to worry about what edition of the rules comes in the box set here, since you will not be able to find the game, unless you open up a mail order catalogue, OR you have learned about the game from a friend... in which case I am sure that friend has already told you about some of the fun things we have to deal with LRB etc...
I love this game. I play as much as possible, but my support for GW as a hobby supplier is done. I am not interested after we here in Canada have just (as of a week today) had another price increase in their product. I have ebay!!!

| Its worse in Australia. ATM they don't carry any blood bowl stuff at all - not even online or through mail order. |

Yeah, but the BB community here down under is still strong and loyal. Just look at the number of Aus based NAF members for a start 
We have a regular presence at the local tournaments and conventions too - heck, that's how I got back into the game after a near 10 year hiatus! |

Well you can't walk down to the local GW in Aus to order anything BB. If we want it, we need to order it in ourselves directly from either the UK or US GW online stores. Just how it is sadly.
That said though, we have shadowforge here in Aus offering some really nice BB figs and the rules are free so... |
