As those sad stattos like myself are probably already aware I keep a reasonably upto date breakdown of all the NAF games by race. http://www.irwilliams.com/naf/index.html
We've just finished the Jan-June period for '05. There were over 2000 NAF games recorded in the 6 months - thats over a quarter of all games ever and continues to represent a healthy growth in the number of sanctioned tournaments and size of those tournaments.
Vamps and Ogres both got off to dreadful starts - and are overall worse than Halflings - without about 50 matches recorded for each.
Undead continued to dominate - a .625 record is their best since the very first 6 month period which only represented 17 games (this one was 264 ).
Chaos Dwarves - from their heady peak of a near .600 record CDs have dropped down to .532 - giving them a respectable 6th place for the half year. Obviously that hike in RR cost had the desired effect.
Sputnik is still the most prolific coach with 117 recorded games and over 60 coaches have played at least 50 recorded games. Cyberhare and Geggster jointly hold the record for the most games with a single race (59 games). |

Now that I achieved my goal with Vamps, I'll try to wreak havok with the Race Rankings of other races
But I was still surprised to see other coaches ranking below me (I rank above Darkson with Skaven; something to rub his nose in at the NBA). And I thought I was a sucker |

Yeah, if only my 3 wins with vamps counted for NAF
My win ratio is 0.433, but V naf it is only 0.292
I think I can get vamps up to 0.500 win ratio, still experimeting with different rosters (and tournaments which allow stars help, as I love Luthor!) |

Could be worse. They counted only two losses, wheras it should have been 0/2/4, with 4-14 TDs and 9-19 CASs.
Another reason not to count games against non-NAF coaches |

Yeah, yeah, yeah, it just seems all my wins are against non-NAF.
Anyway, I suck, so anyone below me with non-stunty teams should hang their heads in shame. |
