This is an important Death Bowl update...
It has been mentioned elsewhere that the Canadian Major, The Spike! tournament, will not be held this year. Due to this it has been decided that the 2005 Death Bowl will be granted the increased tournament K value of a major. Now what does that mean. For the immediate time frame, not a lot. At present the proposed ranking changes have not yet been programmed into the system yet. This means that the K value of a tournament is presently determined by the number of coaches present. For the future though, it will mean that once the system is updated, Death Bowl III will not be subject to the 30 coach limit on K value for non majors. Games played at Death Bowl III will be worth the same as all the other major tournaments.
So essentially, though Death Bowl III has not been titled a "major", it is now the major tournament in Canada for 2005. |

So in other words,it will make all of my wins all the sweeter!
Not to mention that it won't hurt your attendance either,eh Brian?

Let's hope it'll help the attendance. Though considering we're already at 29 and I have 9 others who haven't signed up yet we're just about full up as it is. I'm going to have to expand the tournament space available if we get up over 35 pre-registered coaches at the website. |

To all the boys coming from Southern, Ontario.
I have already got a lot of inquiries as to how we are planning to get to Montreal i.e who's driving.
I know the owner of a car rental company and i can get a van for a real good deal.
We would need 6 or 7 people to make it ideal as the price each person would have to contribute would be less.
So who's in? Let me know and once i have about 6 confirmed then i will get a price together.
Thank you and have a good day. |

I can borrow my Dad's Chevy Yukon, which seats seven, assuming folks will pitch in for gas.
Where is everybody staying? |

Hey I'm looking for a place to stay, but after doing GenCon this month, things will be tight. So I will be able to get to Montreal but would be looking for a gracious Montrealer to let me crash on their couch (or floor, whatever). It would be very appreciated. |

Brian,
I am still leaning towards bringing the rotters but need to know a couple of things:
1) Is the mutation rule going to be in effect for sure -that chaos players can take mutations as regular skills?
2) What will happen with the Free Rotters if the Beast of Nurgle kills an opposing player? Will I get one for the game? Or not at all?
Thanks,
Spazz |

Yes we are using the mutation rule. It's been updated on the webite and I worked it into the rule book.

No extra players. You play with what you came with. The Dark Angels have their own plans for the Dead |
