If the hotel by the airport is a huge challenge, that may not be the best option for me.

I think now is the time i start to get organized for the Deathbowl.

I will be driving down from Brampton on Friday afternoon and leaving around 1- 2 pm.

Unfortuneately i won't be renting a van unless someone else wants to so i have only room for 4 people in the car (maybe 5).

So far i have confirmed that Paul will be driving up with me (please confirm Paul).

Please let me know if you are interested in driving up with us.

First come, first serve.

I will also be staying at La Siesta Hotel which is where we have stayed the last couple of years. It's a nice little motel which is close to the tournament location and is only $79.00 a night( includes breakfest).

I think i am rooming with Karllagerbottom (please confirm).

That's it.

Tusim out.

-Rob

P.S. Also, I am assuming that you are checking out on Sunday morning...is that correct?

I guess the TBBF is really starting to slide if Paul and Cam are the best they can send.... Monkey's coming back and joining the mammoth US contingent to insure a Stateside win... if Brian didn't need the money so bad, I'd tell you Toronto folk just to save your money and stay home...

see ya in a couple of weeks...

Hey now, monkeyman, I haven't seen you do much at DB... Wink And now that I've given up on wood elves, my odds are much better! Laughing

To be honest, BB7s and the DB itself are a crapshoot, so the more the merrier from Toronto! Lets do a Florida vs Ontario competition, and see how that goes... Razz

P.S. The Lightning don't have a hope in hell this year!!! Twisted Evil

yeah, I guess me versus the seven or so of you guys would be about even.... Rolling Eyes Smile but there's not enough time for all those games... how about some Street Ball one-offs face-to-face the first night, with me and some of the other NATFs v. whichever of the TBBF group has permission to stay up late.... Twisted Evil

P. S. careful, Cam, you're doing that unfamiliar stuff called "thinking" again - with the salary cap in place, The Lighning have at least a good shot at a return title, and certainly better than whatever the Maple Syrups are going to put on the ice this year... a case of Labatts or whatever other bad Canadian beer you care to wager to the winner of the season series....

(damn, I love trash talkin' with you guys.... even tho' it's picking on the handicapped, I love the smell of burnt flannel shirts in the evening.... Very Happy )

I'll check with my mom to see if I can stay up late for the games Smile If so, you're on.

if I can take a case of Keiths, and pick any team in Canada exepct the Leafs, you're on. The Leafs have less of a shot than the Lighting do. And without Khabibulin in goal, the lighting don't have much of a chance. How about the Oilers, I'll wager you a case of Keiths that the Lighting and the Oilers tie the season series. Smile

From what I've heard about your speed of play, I don't know if there would be time for one of those games! Laughing

just shows the quality of who you're listening to, Craig... need to upgrade your sources of information.... Smile my speed of play generally matches my opponents and I play much faster now than two years ago at DB1...

@ Paul: no, the bet is between home teams... jeesh, already trying to throw in a ringer.... Rolling Eyes Smile

but you can try and improve the quality of the beer for the prize!

Well the Wings only face TB once this year (12/17/05) but it's sure to be a Wings victory. Of course you may try to hide behind the excuse that they're not my home team...

The Wings only play Toronto in pre-season Shocked , dont play the Bruins or Canadiens at all Evil or Very Mad , Play the Blackhawks 8 times Rolling Eyes , and play the Rangers once.

The NHL is seriously f*cked up.

All that aside, the axe is coming home to the U S of A and so is THE CUP (To Hockeytown to be specific)!

Ok Ladies, enough with all the b*tch talking.

This is a Blood bowl Forum, not a B*tch-a-thon.

Anyway i have Cam and Paul confirmed for the ride up from Toronto.

I still have space for one more, please let me know who still needs a ride.

Ben
