David Sutton is apparently part of Torg's clan now. Heard that he moved out to Alberta. |

We had 3 out of 4 at the top table...... and still managed to lose it.
Torg - sorry dude, i forgot to reply to your pm. I'll try to get you hooked up with a roomy.
The rooms do hold 3 if Cam & Paul want to share. The hotel provides one of those portable matresses.

Torg wtf?
Your going to bail on us after we already booked a room?
If so, not cool.

Listen here! we only have met in compition once & you did beat me 2-1, but wait it was in the 2nd half that I noticed you had an error on your team & your thrower was given an x-tra upgrade!
So yes Ben you did win, but you also cheated, I say we are still on par & even in Tourney games played.
Ben you may have a great win/loss record & I may have a terrible win/loss record, but at least I have my record from honest play! In other words I DON'T CHEAT!

Rod
Found out from Talons the room is only booked for friday and saturday nights, I'm coming in on Thursday and staying until Monday so doesn't really work for me. Yes it's cheap for the coupld of days when sharing with everyone else, but much too espensive by myself for 2 days (and splitting between 8 or 7 shouldn't be that big of a difference, since it's only 2 days). We'll see what happens.
BTW, I had never confirmed that I was staying there, Talons just asked if I was interested and that there was 2 spots open (that's when I said I might be interested depending on how many nights it was booked, cost, etc), so please don't go flying off the handle. According to Talons there are others interested as well, so I'm sure you guys will get the 8 guys needed for the cheapest price). |

I'd go easy on the whole "cheating" thing, Rod... an honest mistake, yes, but I'll vouch for Ben and find it hard to believe that "cheating" was involved.... |

Just as an aside here, if anyone is looking tp pump themselves up for the Deathbowl round, watch the opening scene from the Jackie Chan movie "The Dragon Lord". They have four teams scrambling for one ball which sits ontop of a bamboo pyramid, they then have to get the ball back to their home side and put in in a sack to win. Quite hilarious! |

Thanks for vouching for me OMM, but i don't worry what Rod says, i just consider the source.
And yes it was an honest mistake, i gave my thrower a skill that i figured was a regular skill but was pointed out by Rod that in fact it was a skill which required a double.
That is why i won. |

anyone still looking for a place to stay for the deathbowl, let me know. We are staying at the Hilton Garden Inn. I have 2 rooms booked and I have space for 3 more people now that Torg is not joining us. The room cost is 256.56 for the 2 nights. the cost will be split by everyone . The venue is approx 18 minutes from the hotel, according to Mapquest. Look forward to seeing you all soon. |
