Talons, Socialist Crusader, Bikerbob and myself are coming up today. We leave at 12 noon which means that wee will be invading your city in less than twelve hours!

Get that axe nice and shiny for me Brian! My team may sound like they are having oral sex with insects but it is only the other teams that they are going to blow away! (sorry for the bad pun) Rolling Eyes

Countdown baby!

so, what you're saying is your team really blows?

The real threat from Toronto leaves at 1:30, as myself, Ben and Twist leave then.

See you on the pitch.

That is only the final round.

Overall it was a FANTASTIC tournament, and I would like to once agin thank Brian for all of his efforts in putting together by far the best Blood Bowl tournament I have seen.

We had all the rivalries of Canada vs. USA, Ontario vs Quebec, and eveyone aganst Clan-skaven. The competition was great, the competitors were fantastic, and overall the competitive spirit was good natured but intense!

Also, for those who missed it, missed the opportunity to see Clan-Skaven's sporting new haircut (from losing a bet at the last tourney), and the close competition for this tourney's "Hair Club". Alas, Clan-Skaven's head has another date with Talons' clippers at the next tourney they attend!

And that was onyl the tourney! I am not even going to get intot he night life there! Overall a great time! Sell whatever organs youy have to to attend next time Xtreme! Not a tourney to be missed!

Spazz

EDIT - Can't believe that I forgot to mention the final board! Last year I was impressed with the volcano board, but this year's final table with the Deathbowl board was absolutely phenomanal! By far the most impressive board I have ever seen!

WOW what a fantastic weekend! The rivalries, the friendship and the backstabbing! Once again this year we saw Zombie at the Championship table Shocked Dispite the rest I have to give him credit for consistancy in the Death Bowl tournament. Ben sat at the Championship table for the third year in a Row! Unfortunatly he was once again unable to pull out a win.

Thanks for the praise Spazz. I'll get the pictures up of Rod's hair soon. It was definetly something not to be missed.

*******************

In a stunning upset local unknown Rene Roy has won the Death Bowl III championship. Playing Lizards he took the Death Bowl match into overtime to win the title. Second place was taken by the one and only Rob Fossey. Playing Necro's he beat Rene in an earlier match during the tournament. In fact he was pretty close to pulling out the win in the championship game but Rene got to it just before Rob. Taking the third place spot was Steve Lalancette. After a quick 2 turn score early in the Death Bowl match he was the early target of choice for blocks and fouls.

Complete tournament results will be posted shortly.

Thank you once again to everyone who attended the third annual Death Bowl!

32 coaches in total. Myself and a friend sat out. I didn't want to play in my own tourney and he was my odd man out. I had a goal of 30 for this year and a hope for 40 so I'm pretty happy with 30.

Well, I think I'm almost recovered from the tourney.

I gotta thank Brian for putting it on, it was by far the best tournament in my career. I had a blast on both days despite a couple games where my dice went stale.

It was also great to see some friends from past tournaments and to meet all the new faces. I can't wait for next year.
