I'm thinking about taking the following Chaos team to the French Open:
1 Mino
3 CW
7 BM
3 RR
6 FF
Or the same roster with 4 CW and 1 BM and 4 FF less.
My other option is a Dwarf team (with no stupid ogre)
Can somebody with some Chaos-at-Tournaments experience give me some useful advice.
BTW If I play Chaos, I will take the mino, so don't start telling me I should take an Ogre (Ogres, bwah, where's the puke smiley)

You're anti-Ogre but willing to take a WA?!? Don't you play to win? |

What?!?!? An Ogre hater????? (where's the crying smiley?)
Anyway, Chaos at tournaments are very good. Or not. It depends on the amounts of 1's and 6's rolled, I guess...

I think Ogres are dull
They are the big guy everybody who can have big guys takes
They are no fun fluff-wise, they look stupid (more stupid than they are meant to look)
They are allowed to WAAAAAAY too much teams
They are underpriced
I just don't like them
Mino's on the other hand are out of control
Stronger than Ogres (Slightly; Horns)
Cool
Good looking Figs
And I got an old Keeper of Secrets model as a mino for my Chaos team, and that model Rocks!!!
Those are my reasons, but I'll probably end up playing dwarfs again. I'm just a bit affraid to ruin my Coach ranking even more, since I'm not going to take an Ogre, and every other Dwarf team out there does (and there are quite some already)...
Also I like playing with some special figs, as long as they look the part, in it and the Keeper of Secrets certainly makes a better impression than just 1 1st edition Dwarf as a runner.

Well, you got some points I gotta agree with. Still, once an Ogre lover, always an Ogre lover. But I think being an Ogre lover has to do with having an I.Q. above 30
Anyways, my Chaos Dwarfs are getting a Minotaur since Chaos Dwarfs are bull-worshippers, and I make sure to make fun of any Skaven Coach who dares field an Ogre instead of his ratty counterpart. And Elves with Ogres? That's asking to be spanked and burned at the stake afterwards!
Ogres for Orcs, Chaos, Norse and Humans,

Squigg, after playing almost a season with a minotaur, I can tell you that you won't regret it !
It almost never caused me trouble, it now has Block (and closing in to 16 SPP's !!!) and is feared by all the league !! I just love him !

Wild Animal has its drawbacks, but if you use him intelligently, a mino can rock! |

But back to subject; can anybody who's got experience with using Chaos at Tournaments give me some advice.
And also; what is the best, intelligent, way to use a Mino?

Loving a man with a bull's head? Maybe you should seek professional help?
Anyways, I've just bought a Minotaur last week. Now all I have to do is convert and paint a team and then I'm gonna test yout theory. Although I could do without that Wild Animal, I guess...

Well, the fact that he's strong and big-horned AND a Wild Animal seems to me he's the perfect blitzer... But then again I'm not noted for my tactics |

The perfect Blitzer, do you really think so...
Wow, why didn't I come up with that...
But I guess it is also necessary to keep him away from those large groups of linemen ready to give each other lots of assists, and always having to move first should hamper his use as a Blitzer somewhat...
