Extra coaches could always help to fill out other teams. Atleast the first year I think that would help get more teams there.

LQ if you and MrIn were to come I think we could get some extra Indy players to throw on your team to fill it out.

We can hook up and be the MO/IN or INDY/STL alliance. Mr. Green Not as cool sounding as the NOW from the old WCW days, but I'd walk into a room to the tune of Voodoo Chile with ya X. Wink

Always liked your Voodoo team name, Mel. You need to get a hold of the New Orleans Voodoo logo for the team before it's lost to history since the team has suspended operations b/c of the hurricane.

Who said I would want to be on that team? Wink
I was going to throw you our scraps so I could kick your butts representing Indy. Very Happy

Aw, now see you don't get it. You do the double team/back stabbing AFTER you're on the team. Sheesh. Wink Really, X, you'd make a bad "heel" in wrestling.

With all the smack you're talking, I think I'm just going to have butch up and b*tchslap you around in a friendly soon. Mr. Green

yeah, I need to try to grab one too. I thought that was one of the more original and cool team nicknames and logos in any sport really. We could use more of 'em instead of the same ol' crap.

Ok I've added a poll to the beginning of this thread. Go vote for your favorite name.

Now, when do people think we should hold the event? Looking at the list of events there's no big open gap. My thinking right now is that it should either be a season opener or a closer.

What would constitute a season?

If we are talking the calendar year then that would be December or January. I'd think those weren't the best travel times for much of the area we are covering. They're talking about us getting some snow today (just flurries). I can only imagine what the Great white North is like that time of year.

I would like to have it in the summer some time. June or July are best for me.

Yeah I think we've pretty much set ourselves up with a January to December Season. Not that it was ever planned that way but that's the way it seems to have worked out.

What you don't like the snow?

Ok so that's one vote for summer.

I personally love snow. Driving in it is a little difficult and slower. That would make for a longer and more dangerous trip.

I'm guessing that a lot of people wouldn't want to risk it.

I definitely can't do very late December or very early January. That is X-mas break around here and we do a lot of work on the Computer systems during it. We also do work during the summer but there's much more time then to spread it out in.

The answer to this seems easy to me.

Have this tournament during the months that folks were pushing to have the Chaos Cup. If they were the best months for that tournament ... they should work great for this one instead.
