Not sure about PBBL (don't play it myself) but under LRB rules... no.

The Big Guy is not on your roster, as your team roster appears at the back of the book. They are an additional player which you may (or may not) have access to according to the teams played for bit in the big guy section, but they are not a 'regular' position for your team.

You could add an ogre to an ogre team though since he is a member of the team and not a big guy as described in LRB

He is not on the roster.
He is listed with all the other big guys on page 25 in LRB not on page 54 where the nurgle team list is.
