Aw, now see you don't get it. You do the double team/back stabbing AFTER you're on the team. Sheesh. Really, X, you'd make a bad "heel" in wrestling.
Man, thought I had it down. Back to the training room for me, anyone have any roids they aren't using.

Bring it on. Until you beat me I don't see any reason to stop talking.
I pity the fool....
Next tourney....you pick: 7s, Straight up, Dungeon, Street, Grudge Match, DP +1/+1.

Hey folks--I have a large and inexpensive venue about 15 minutes from NYC. It's a huge room at the Bergen Mall in Paramus, NJ. We've ran big events there before. How much space would we need, how many players would we expect, would it be one day or two, and what would we need to make it happen? |

So can Philly and Harrisburg both have teams? Or are they too close geographically... we could blend together to form a Team PA (aka Devastator). |

I think floating zones would work out for any non-jerry-mandered geographically contiguous area that can provide a full team. For instance, we could have Philly, Harrisburg, everything west of the Mississipi -- whatever works to get a team.
The July 15 weekend in Paramus looks good to me.
Cheers,

My Paramus venue, while having many advantages, has the drawback of Bergen County blue laws--No business on Sunday, so it will probably be a one-day event. There is no reason that we couldn't have it be a team event though, depending on who comes--A PA team, A NJ team, a NY team, MA team, an international/anyone else team...
The more I look at various event calendars, the more I think July 15 will be perfect. |

Could we run it Friday and Saturday then? Bit of a distance to travel, I think it would be hard to convince the guys around here to make the trip for a one-dayer. |

Ok I didn't fall off the earth I've just been busy working on something. All of you should keep your ear to the ground. Something big is coming. Save up those pennies you're not going to want to miss this one.
The Amorical Cup.
I asked Jay and Rob if they wanted to run it alongside their event. Jay hasn't gotten back to me yet though.
JAY ARE YOU OUT THERE
I appreciate the offer max but we'll definetly need to have a two day event and preferably on Saturday and Sunday.
I have other locations in mind but I'd really like to find somewhere centrally located to run this event. Gken if Jay and Rod arn't an option maybe we could run it alongside your event? Could the venue you use handle something like this? |

Northeast perhaps but I'm hoping to get something a little more south to be more central east than north east. Anyway at the moment I'm just waiting to hear back from Jay and we'll move on from there.
What do people think though about having a static location for the tournament. Or would people rather it be a "winner hosts next year" type of deal. |
