After my first game on Fumbll my Lizardmen team "Slann Jose Crocs" had 2 Saures go up & for both in succession I rolled a +1 STR, & a +1 STR...
Not a bad start to a team after only one game.

So much for the FUMBBL random number genrator not being broken.

P.S. This is coming from a guy who had 4 AG upgrades in a 4 game span with my Ogre team. That's right...that's two AG3 Ogres and one AG 4 Ogre...and I'm still moaning about the "randomness" of generator.
EDIT: Hey Rod...that sounds good...just stay away from those AG 4 Skinks...they have the dropsies. |

Hey, successive +ST increases is only 1/1296 - so given the number of games on FUMBBL probably ought to occur fairly often (and more often than you "feel" it should). I played a Ftf game once where between us we got 3 +ST increases afterwards.
There is nothing wrong with the random number generator - its just your perception than when "extreme" results occur that its because the random number generator isn't random. It it were dice you'd laugh it off (or maybe think your opponent used loaded dice). |

Well all I know is how many consecutive turns boneheaded players stay boneheaded "feels" like the engine is broken.
Just my opinion, not based on any case study or anything.

The random generator DEFINITELY works in both ways! After my first game game with a new Lizzie team, I had a Saurus get a +1AG and a skink get a +1STR, the following game 3 skinks DIED in the first half to a halfling team! Oh, and it wasn't the treemen that killed them, it was the halflings with unassisted blocks! Two in one turn! I'm not sure there is a middle ground with that generator! |

I've done some work with random number generators, and for simulating die rolls, you see some strange stuff, especially when you're only dealing with a 6 sided die. More than a few times I've simmeed 100 rolls and seen strings of the same number repeated 3 or 4 times in a row, something that you don't usually see when you're actually rolling dice but its something that can happen. |

When was the last time you rolled 100 dice and recorded the results? |
