Some of you will have seen this from WIP -> Completion on TBB but I thought I'd post it here for those who have not seen it yet. I am aiming to get this cast as a mini in its own right but it will take time.
I've done some conversions on the heavy side but its the first time I've used a wire armeture (sp?) etc
If anyones interested in getting one or can help with advice, gimme a shout please, its greatly appreciated.
As I said earlier, any comments (good or bad) are greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Ewan |

Indeed a very good job! Far better than I could ever hope to do (I am hopeless with the green stuff)
My only critique is that the head looks disproportionally large compared to the rest of the body.

Amazing work; I really like the way the hair/pelt on the legs came out. The left arm's positioning also looks great, especially the 'ridge' on the topside of it.
Great stuff! |

OH MY GOD! You has talent! And as for oversized head, well yeah but I think it makes it look funky and very chumpy. Want one! Actually want 5 or 6 and some rules for a snow troll team! |

I actually know that, but thanks for the heads up anyway. I just think that the model is cooler than the ogres I've seen and they have their own team. So why not Snow trolls? |

As some of you may have seen on TalkBloodBowl. I've finally managed to get this cast.
Thanks to everyone who helped with advice and contact info etc
Here's the Icetroll in metal form. The minute it came through the letterbox, I assembled it (both arms and head are seperate) and primed it - so the actual mini is normal mini 'white metal'. It's something called a 'test cast' but hopefully it will be good enough to make some copies from.
I know its actually just a lump of metal but I'm 'over the moon!' I never would have thought something like this would have been possible.
If anyone out there needs any help/advice with sculpting or casting needs - just gimme a shout and I'll try to help where I can.
Cheers

Who did you get to do the casting?
I was thinking about building a spin-caster but it's too much work with everything else life's given me to deal with
Thanks! |
