Ben
Do you paint for hire Ben?
Not anymore. Ken & Rob's team was the first and last team i will ever paint.

ok, I can put this debate to bed once and for all...

Secondly, I am wondering whether the chaos teams are going to be allowed to take mutations as regular skills as is now the case in some tournaments.
Yes

no
Problem Solved
I say let them have their mutations, but make them cost 40,000 instead of 30,000. |

Paul, even with the mutations costing 30K have you tried making a viable chaos team for this tourney? I still feel that the chaos teams are a huge disadvantage, the mutations just make them a bit more fun to play.
Sorry man, but just because you say yes or no, does not mean the debate ends there!

You know, Zombie's suspension is up, and he is going to be pretty pissed if you are muscling in on his "my word is law" turf. |

Okay, I have pre-registered for the event! I entered goblins as my team for now, as I am almost done painting them and think they would be a hoot to play. however, there is still more than a month for me to come to my senses, so this may change!
Need to know though Ben, are goblins going to have their secret weapons?

Ben-
I tried to pre-reg yesterday but got an error message. Since there is nowhere to see who is currently registered, can you tell me if you got my submission?

I have also pre-reged, but after filling out the form, it didn't seem to do anything. Do I still pay at the door, pre-reg or no? Do you send me an e-mail with details on where to send the money? Anything like that? |

I don't get this answer...how else would you get skills if you didn't purchase them with the initial 1,250,000 GC? Is there a more granular break-down of the cash.?Is it strictly a TR 100 Roster with 250K in upgrades, or can you spend the whole amount however you like?

Rob - I was joking around with the answer, yes they could get mutations as regular skills, but only on a skill roll, of which, there are none in the tournament.
As for the roster, I know last year (and I assume this year will be the same) you could spend the money any way you want.
ie, you can go with a human team that includes: 4 Blizters (360k), 2 Throwers (140k), 4 Catchers (280k) 6 Linemen (300k), 3 ReRolls (150k) and 2 Fan Factor with no extra skills and a TR of 125.
or you can play halflings and take 11 Halflings, (330k), 2 Skills for each of them (22 skills = 660k), 4 Rerolls(240k) and 2 Fan Fanfactor with a TR of 59.
Ideally, you want to find something in between these two spending levels. (although, 2 skills on every fling is intriguing, anyone want to bite at the roster ) |

*Update*
The website has been updated to show who has registered.
I will hopefully very soon add an option to prepay which will be able to guarantee you a spot and get a special gift.
I think the limit is 30 people confortably for this room at the hotel, i will double check when i visit the hotel this week.
I am leaning towards leaving the mutations as is and them costing 50 gold, and i'm not sure on the Secret weapons yet, its either:
1. all races that are allowed have access to them
2. only goblins may take them.
I will need to do some more homework before i can make these decisions.
Thanks for all the input.
