There is a limit of 2 skills or one stat increase or 1 doubles roll. That means not stacking of mutations with anything.

To be honest, with 50k mutations on Chaos, I would rather take Block/MB (60k) over Claw (50k).
And Sure Hands (30k) over Big Hand (50k)

That's true...assuming of course that the mutations are a doubles roll as per LRB 4...and not a regular skill roll as per the recent trend of NAF tournaments in North America.(Made as an inducement for Chaos coaches to allow for variety.)
Just looking for the clarification of the TO. |

And there you have it.
One of the beauties of playing Chaos is for the opportunity to take mutations. But as Kolja points out here is there are much better (and cheaper) options in the regular skills than mutations.
In the end, the mutations do not overpower the chaos team, and allow for some interesting variations. Allow it for chaos, but not for skaven.
...and how about them secret weapons Ben? |

You're gonna live to regret that statement when the first Skaven team you play spills your guts all over the pitch. |

Forget spilling your guts. It's going to be the one turn score festival. |

What part of this being a boost for chaos and not for skaven is not getting through here? |

Skaven can still take a mutation for 50k according to the rules.
That being said, you can get a Long Legs gutter Runner for 50k, but then you'd have to rely on a ton of pushbacks etc for him to score in 1 turn. Its not the easiest way to do it. |

While we're at it, we should make Halflings ST3. |

Damn - you guys are making me think to much.
I've decided to leave costs as is.
Mutations for chaos and skaven cost 50k and they can only have one per player.
We will see how that works out this year and perhaps we will change it for next year.
As for secret weapons, im still up in the air over this one. I will have a decision on that tomorrow so you can all begin preperation.

Ben, I think you should limit it to 1 mutation of each type/team.
And this doesn't help chaos, only skaven

Nope. You can take as many mutations of any type as you like.
I really don't believe people will be stacking that much on claw for example.
When i took skaven last year i didn't take one mutation because of the cost.
