Long ago, the Phillee Iggles were a team to be reckoned with, a force within the ranks of those playing Nuffle's game. Then it happened, tragedy. Their coach, Big Red, decided he needed a stronger catcher to compliment their established thrower Don O'Van. He acquired T'Rel in a complicated, and disputed trade. He had the star player at the catcher position that the fans of the mighty Iggles had been demanding.
Their first season together, Don O'Van and T'Rel worked together as if they had been playing together for years. Sadly, their season ended in the championship game, losing to the Pats of Newingland.
Hopes ran high, the fans were looking forward to another winning season and hopefully a championship win. It was not to be. Player agent Shrew Roseylouse got into T'Rel's ear and told him he could get T'Rel a better contract from the Iggles. T'Rel, while being speedy and with great hands for catching, was not the sharpest knife in the drawer. He believed Shrew and decided to sabotage the Iggles season if he did not get what he wanted from them.
This angered the Iggles ower, coach, and especially the bloodthirsty fans. How dare T'Rel try to ruin their season! Caused from all the anger and hate frothing through Phillee, a rift in the warp opened one summer morning. It opened over the city of Phillee and something came flying from it towards a small nestle of homes in the nearby realm of Nujerzee. It raced through the sky. T'Rel, exercising and holding a CabalVision interview in his front yard looked towards the sky. While able to evade opposing teams blitzers, he could not escape the path of the giant object hurtling towards him from the sky. With a loud THUD, the object slammed T'Rel into the turf outside his home. Thus ending the era of T'Rel in the city of Phillee.
To this day, a Bloodbowl tournament is held in memory of this blessed occasion...it is called...The Krimpet Kup!

Is this going to be open registration? I'm going to try and recruit some of the Harrisburg Guys for this as well as some locals from the Reading Area.
This sounds like fun! |

Harrisburg Mafia will be well represented.
Myself, zinak (Kent), Josh and Jason will all be coming along with Steel Thunder (who we ve adopted as a pseudo Mafia Member despite his Reading affiliations).
Although we find the lack of a Best Painted prize most disturbing. |

Perhaps a single pack of Kandy Kakes would suffice as a best painted prize? They're my favorite! Yum! |

OK, OK . I'll buy the winner of the best painted competition...a pot of their favorite paint (non-metallic! )from GW! Bear in mind guys, there is no fee here, so prizes are limited. That being said, I'll see if I can come up with something... Anybody have a prize suggestion? |

Um, a case of Butterscotch Krimpets for the winner?
"Smash their bones to" Jelly Krimpets for the most CAS?
A Coconut or Chocolate Junior for anyone bringing a Stunty team?
Box of cupcakes for best painted? (I think they're the only ones with two colors of icing, right?)
--->Every once in a while I'll find a random Kwikee-Mart up here in Boston that's got Tasty Kakes, and a chorus of angels sings, "Hallelujah!" |

Personally I think a Poundcake Junior might best represent both the status in height, and what is likely to happen to them on the pitch.
BTW...My Flings will DEFINATELY be taking the fleld this weekend...I would think that I would have a definite advantage with all of the prize support being food related. |
