I know there's a lot of testing going on.
How are the various configurations working out? |

I've also been playing around with the lists (either out of sheer boredom or curiosity), with similar results. The revised Nurgle team seems to be somewhat more balanced than the current Ogre lists against various opponents. Right now my nurgle team is 3-2 holding off a Chaos, Wood Elf and Human team while losing to Skaven and Orcs (mind you each game was quite close). The Ogres on the other hand are not faring so well. List 1 seems to have the best record 1-2 (barely scraping one out against the Orcs). List 2 on paper seems to be the most balanced but has yet to pull out a win in 3 games. List 3 also has no wins yet, but also have had no games either, lol. List 3's first test game is this evening against a fairly balanced Norse team.
You can do some playtesting yourself if you like. Just set up a few games and post your results! |

Testing just started in the MBBL.
The revised Nurgle team beat an Ogre #2 roster.
Ogre #1 and Ogre #3 lost to Human teams.

The amended Rotter Warriors seem a little useless compared to regular Chaos Warriors.
4-4-2-9 vs. 5-4-3-9.... a little too slow and clumsy to do anything but hit. |

AND don't forget regeneration.
Hey, Anthony ...did your Chaos Pact team beat Mark's Rotters team?

Well, maybe.
Depends on how good the other coach is. |

Well we have played 2 games with the Ogres. They lost once and won the other. Aside from the jammy git playing them rarely failing a throw team-mate, it seemed fairly balanced. Since most lighter teams try to avoid the Ogres and deal with the goblins, casualties were not unusually high. I inflicted far more problems on myself by regularly failing to dodge my Amazons away.
We have only played 1 match with them, but the Nurgle team too seems pretty balanced. The Beast (revised annual rules) does seem to still dominate the middle of the pitch, but then I never failed to block a rotter as they just didn't seem that foul. The problems throwing etc the ball close to them was a minor hindrance rather than a show-stopper. |
