With some of the riff raff that I have staying at my place that weekend it is very likely to be!

Sorry to hear that you will not be able to make it out. But I am sure that I will see you at (insert shamless plug here) The Challenge of Q'ermitt this summer! Wink

Since the Spike! had a low turnout, should the Canadian Open get 'majors' status?

that was the Deathbowl for 2005, probably will be again for 2006 since the Spike is going to be a one-day thing run by GW at Games Day.

Actually, I heard through the grapevine the other day they might make it two days with only one day being at Games Day. Dunno anything more than that though.

I heard a rumour that their "hobby champion" Andrew Sinclair is no longer involved with the Games Day, what that means for his potiion with the company I do not know.

You heard correct, Spike is going to be a two day event.

Day one will be at the Battle Bunker in Oakville the Day before Games game, with it ending at Games Day.

I know for sure because I and the MOBB are the ones doing the organizing this year.

Okay, so what does that mean for the entry fees? Will the Bunker fee also allow access to the GD event, or will you have to pay separately for that?

Now, back on to the Canadian Open!

Who is looking forward to seeing Clan-Skaven with his second head shaving? Anyone want to bet that he is going to be at the bottom of the Hair Club for Men at this tourney too? Laughing

Well being ranked last in the Hair Club at the Deathbowl means that he is going to be sporting another lovely do at the Canadian Open! Now he is almost desparate to redeem himself at this tourney and get himself into the top place so that he can be on the other side of the clippers for a change! Very Happy

With me playing Goblins, that may not be so hard...... Wink
