Spike 2006 will be hosted by the Mississauga Oakville Blood Bowl [M.O.B.B.] league on the weekend of May 26th and 27th.
*Please note that this is a Friday and Saturday to accomodate Games Day. Games Workshop wishes the Spike Trophy to be presented on the Saturday.
The Friday will be held at the Bunker on Bristol Circle, Oakville. The Saturday will be held at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre on Front Street in Toronto. Please contact us for any assistance in directions.
We will be presenting times as the dates get closer as well as rules.
The price (as well as the price for Games Day admission) is $30 per player. NAF numbers will be taken at the tourney.
*We need as many people who are thinking of coming out to Spike to let us know for planning purposes. Two years ago there were 36 people playing in Spike so we'd like to get a minimum of 45! Please msg Baccuus2099 if you would like to be placed on this list.. |

We are looking at 9:30 a.m. for the first games to get in as many matches as we can. The tourney is in May so most people would have ample time to book off the Friday with this much warning if they needed to. |

can't make it if its going to be on a friday. I'm in school, and with planning to take time off for the North American Cup I can't take another day off.
If you make it Saturday/Sunday and the price isn't too expensive, theres a chance I might be able to make it. |

Unforately guys we don't have much of a choice about the Friday unless we want to go for a one day tourney. |

How about Friday night/Saturday? Have a late evening on Friday with 2 games in and then 3 more games on saturday? Then people won't need to get off work.

You can probably count me in for this one. I can probably swing it either way - late Friday or all day. |

Hmm, well I will try to be there, but the Friday thing is going to put a crimp in your plans for a big turn out.
However, the TBBF won't let these MOBB upstarts take the Spike trophy away from us |

ugh, someone played the TBBF card. Now I guess I gotta show up to help us keep the trophy.
I'm not going to commit yet, but I"ll see what I can do. |

All it takes is for one of these monkeys to win one tourney and we'll never hear the end of it
BTW - what is the total price for the tourney? Does the $30 include admission to Games Day? |

No worries Anthony, neither the TBBf nor the MOBB will claim the trophy. It will take it's righful place in Brampton, baby!
But a good question, the $30 had better be it- personally I am not going to want to shell out another $100 for the GD. |

I think that Ben is going to be "unable" to make this tournament..... I will have my boyz see to it.....
But even if he does, his luck has to run out some time! |
