If you are down 2 guys contact Jware30. He was saying it was just the two of them so that could fill the gap.

Also there's talons from Niagra. He might want in. Or maybe Garth?

Where is Jware located? If hes in the Toronto area we can accomodate Twists situation. I'll get in touch with Garth and Talons about this too.

Paul, Twist, get back to me with the schedule and costs, etc. I am by no means definite (even mosying over to the not blood likely skide of the fence), but with the info I will see what I can swing. And if you really don't want me on the team, then you can just make the costs ridiculously high! Wink

We have at least 8... we may be able to field two full teams, if not provide bodies for lacking teams (I promise they won t tank games against Non-Harrisburg opponents).

NY is down to 2 players so perhaps the NY team can combine with the Boston team and have one spare?

It looks like Boston is down to 3, so the team-up should work.

Shane was still wrestling with the time to get down there. The combination of the late end to the day Sunday, and the hard rule on painting settled it for him. Philosophically, he's doesn't want to support a tourney that's not open to newbies or people who just like to play but aren't painters. But it sounds like the time issues would still be a killer for him no matter what.

Cheers,
Mo

I hear ya about that late finishing time on Sunday. I'm not too thrilled about that myself. I'll be looking at the actual situation on Saturday and seeing what I can do about that. I've got a 9 hour drive home myself so getting done earlier is of fair interest to me as well.

I wouldn't say the event isn't open to newbies but it is geared towards the more tournament savvy player. It's not something I'd normally do but it is after all the only event of it's type and it's supposed to be a practice run for the World Cup next March.

So everyone tell me, am I going to get hanged if I don't have any prizes for this tournament? I've been trying to figure it out but it'll be something like 15 prizes just for first, second and third place Shocked What it thought of doing was offering everyone a 2004 or 2005 house rule fig of their choice and then handing out certificates to the winners. That way everyone gets a little prize. I had wanted to make a trophy but I haven't been able to find a toy statue of liberty torch. Thoughts?

Bampf if you've got 8 people or more that will be fantastic!

While you guys are here you can hit the Liberty museum and pick one up for yourselves.

That's the only way one will be leaving Philly with you guys.

That's pretty sweet. We have nothing even close to that here. Jay do they have items like that at a local museum? If so it would be great if you could pick one up and I'll pay you back when I get there. If there's nothing local I'll order that one at the link and ship it to you.
