We are sure we want to play this weekend, its the only date we could kind of agree on. But would be a shame if missed the chance to get some of you guys from Spain over for the tournament. |

Well checking the list of confirmed coaches we have 27 so far, that's over half the tickets gone!
It's always great fun and this year see's my brand new Necromantic team The Odd Squad take to the field...
I look forward to seeing many of you chaps there again! |

Better take me off the confirmed list, as it's not 100% I can get the Saturday off ork (even though I asked for it months ago ).
Still working on it though. |

Bah, coward. It's ok Simon, this one is in my own backyard (well, dead local, you know what I mean) so it will be quite a civilized affair.
No tequila. Just meeting, playing BB, a few drinks afterwards (maybe a curry or something) and that's it. You will be safe, it is not the Blood Bowl. Trust me, I'm working the Monday morning and so I will be 'low-powered DC' for this tourney... |

Contary to DC's post, to much booze wasn't the reason (should I go tea-total?).
However, I'm boack on again, as I've managed to swap Saturday's with a college.
Try and get payment in tomorrow. |

T-Total?
On a weekend when World Cup Matches are part of the schedule??
Never going to happen .
Can't wait, one week to go, I'm going to have a practice match this Tuesday, it will be the 2nd time I've ever used Necromantic's.
Bah, real preparation is for power-gamers . |

Well I have now played two practice games using my Necromantic team, I lost 3-0 to Skaven yesterday.
This could be a great tourney for those who play my lads...
*UPDATE FOR THOSE WHO HAVE NOT SEEN IT ON TBB*
There are no planned tube works at Liverpool St and that is the closest tube to the weekends venue. The Central Line is not running through Liverpool St Tube Station on the weekend but that still leaves the Circle, Metroplitan and Hammersmith & City so everything should be peachy .
For those staying at the hostel you have two clear options for getting to the pub in the morning, buddying up in a cab (probably only recommended if you're running really late) or getting a Northern Line tube from London Bridge to Moorgate, changing onto either the Circle, Metroplitan or Hammersmith & City lines and getting off at Liverpool St Tube station. A short walk from there and 'Roberts your fathers brother'!
I have to ask, how many dudes will be around on Friday night? London being pretty expensive I'd imagine not loads but if you wanna go and watch the footie or go drinking in the West End please post here or send me a PM, we will definately have members of the ECBBL doing both... |
